Remember that really cringe big house Pop Evil song?

We had boomer band Pop Evil make a song called "In The Big House" in 2011, and it makes me sad. What else made your cringe in Michigan history?

?????
if I am understanding the question, i guess I'd have the say the recently snapped losing streak to OSU. that streak sucked. the one we have with them now is way better methinks.
also, everything MSU ever did

My young son absolutely loves that song for some reason. He discovered it on a public Spotify sports playlist and plays it all the time. It made it onto my Spotify Wrapped most played songs in 2022. Lol. Hope the band made at least $1 streaming revenue with how much it was played in my household last year.

Same. My 3 year old loves it and we listen to it several times before each game.

The end of the season always makes me cringe because we ultimately get stuff like this.

Well now I remember it, jackass.

I know people to bandwagon any take Brian has on here, but this song is not remotely as bad as the program was at that time.

Could you set the bar any lower?

As a Boomer, I like it and purchased on iTunes when it came out. Pop Evil has had moderate success and has a number of songs in rotation on Sirius/XM hard rock stations.

Of all the things that bother me about this, I think the inclusion of this "highlight" from that RR-era 67-65 shitshow against Illinois may be the biggest:
Oh, look, Leshoure's open on another wheel route....

Oh sure, it was terrible. Give me Better Son/Daughter by Rilo Kiley over that any day.

i had been trying to forget it, but then you dug it back up.
Thanks, Toby. Christ.

I've never really understood the hate for that song. I thought it was unnecessary, but fun.

I did not hate that song.
Having a DJ bad, even worst when they give the DJ a mic and he panders to the camera.
Having the MC on the field tell the crowd what word we need to say when the cheerleaders hold up the signs.

Never understood the issue with this song. Band was from Michigan and they were huge fans. If I was a rock star and could do something like this hell yeah I would. They even have bragged about doing this song in Columbus like the drummer for The Red Hot Chili Peppers singing The Victors to close out their shows. These guys were fans of the team and wanted to show some fun and fandom towards the team but they got shit on for it. I think that is sometimes what makes us as fans horrible. It was a fun song and the video made me reminisce of so many great memories growing up and watching Michigan play.
Go Blue!!!!
