Rewatch that play and just imagine the defense wearing scarlet and gray uniforms. That's what I did and I felt better.

The part that makes me excited about the Corum run is that a) we have an OL that can make holes, I think they'll be able to do that against a lot of teams, and b) Corum is the type of RB who, when given a hole like that, will take it to the house. We've had too many RBs lately who were good backs, but just didn't have that extra gear when given a big hole.

Idk why nobody remembers Higdon. Kid had wheels, he had better acceleration and top-end than Evans. I think he was faster than Fitz if I had to guess. Probably the fastest RB that played with any type of consistency since, what, Carlos Brown? Brandon Minor? Drake Johnson was pretty fast also, too bad injuries derailed him in the '14 OSU game, they had no answer for him.

Can we give Mike Hart some credit for what should be improved RB play this season? We have the talent in place with the guys on the roster but Mike is capable of coaching these guys up another notch or two-Go Blue!

Exactly. I think Coach Hart will be a great RB coach for UM, but nothing has happened yet. I think young Coach Harbaugh is a better coach than he gets credit for. The problem with the RB's last year was the strange rotation. Not sure who is to blame for that. The HC, the OC or the RB coach. Ultimately it falls on the HC.

I definitely miss the "tidbit analysis" that we used to get on the board pre-submarine era. Especially without a Spring Game, it has left few opportunities for what was, I believe, a fun off-season ritual. So thanks for that.

I was hoping one of the other safeties would pass Hawkins up. He just doesn’t make any plays.

I think this is unrealistic. Even if a 3rd safety is pushing Hawkins, they will still play Hawkins and the third guy and just move Dax Hill into a nickel guy closer to the line. We don't have enough good CB's to think of not playing Hawkins consistently. Plus experience definitely matters at safety.
