Then promptly got embarrased by 100 points (like we all knew would happen).

It's likely the luckiest season for one team that I can remember. Beat us on the flukiest play ever and trailed OSU the entire game until the very last second. They had no business representing the B1G in the playoff.

their defense was above average and their offense was Cook to Burbridge. We beat them until the flukiest fluke in all of flukes. A monsoon rolled in juuuuuust as they play osu. Purdue had them before going full Purdue, as did a few others. Oh, and very few teams ever tested their trash secondary. It's as if teams just forgot to exploit their biggest weakness after a week of prep. They were a 9 win team that fluked their way into the playoff.
