Overanalyzing Video From First Day of Spring Practice
We got these video morsels today! And God, it's great to see Michigan football players doing Michigan football things.
There's a clip of Alex Orgi handing off to Donovan Edwards and a clip of Jayden Denegal passing and no clips of Jack Tuttle doing anything, so that OBVIOUSLY shows the pecking order in the quarterback room! /s

Yeah, obviously context is different for Gallon and Wilson. Saying "better than Gallon" doesn't necessarily mean 1:1 production numbers.
That '13 offense was pathetic. They couldn't run the ball or protect Gardner, and Gallon only had Funchess as a 2nd banana so Gallon got force fed the ball a bit. He had 89 receptions in 13 games. Wilson was in a run first offense and only had 48 receptions in 15 games.
But if you were old enough to remember watching Gallon, the guy had "it" as a college WR. He was small. Didn't matter, he had rocket boots. He wasn't super fast. Didn't matter, he was quick and smart. He made practically every catch possible in his career. Routine catches. Back shoulder fades. Catches in traffic. Pliko deflections. Hilariously underthrown balls where he had to come back through a DB. He broke tackles. He re-routed through traffic. He was just awesome.
Also, he didn't just do it against the likes of Indiana. He put up good single game numbers against ND (2013 - 184 yards), Alabama (2012 - 107 yards), Iowa (2012 - 133 yards), and OSU (2013 - 175 yards) just to name a few.

All reasonable, but he was one of the "midgets" recruited by RichRod, so we can revere him only so much. :)

I'd go to war with that little person!

The preferred nomenclature is "Slot Ninja"...

I still love the call of Gallon being open on the last drive of the night game against ND.

Hear, hear! Put some respect on Gallon's name!

Came here to say Imagine Dragons rocks no matter what you say
I still love that play by Gallon in Under the Lights I. With about 15 seconds left, Denard found Gallon for a >60 yard play….setting up the next pass to Roy Rountree in the end zone to seal the win.

Moment was too big for him in the Bama game but he has some Breaston to him. We will see.
minor observation: not in practice uni's but basically in full-on game uni's.
I like that National championship sticker. It stands out because it's located center. With white and maize outline. I expect everyone from Team 144 to have this sticker.
This would be a great, subtle look for the back window of my truck!
Are those just the stickers from the CFP that every player had on their helmet for both teams?
Nope

I didn't see the 1004 helmet sticker; I see it now, but I don't see the white or maize outline. Regardless, here's a photo of how fantastic last season was.

Watching this new video of TEAM 145 just puts a smile on my face because it brings up the joys of what last season brought. I still can't believe we won it all and for the entire offseason are addressed as reigning national champions! Go Blue!!
