Our Incoming WR Corps

Submitted by skegemogpoint on

if we land Oliver Martin and Nico Collins to go along with DPJ and Tarik Black, would this be the best incoming WR corps in UM history?  Methinks so.  Oh, and btw, Sam Webb just mentioned he has a "gut feel" that Martin will be joining the class.

You can utilize 4 receivers more than you can utilize 10 running backs. Alabama always has the 10 best running backs though, so obviously the best player don't care to compete.

Honestly, you might not be able to keep them all happy. But the nature of recruiting is imperfect. Some guys (not these specifically) will not pan out, some will develop slower, others will get injured, position changes, etc.

If 3 of the 5 become starters at some point, it's probably a win. 4 would be awesome, and all 5 would be a grand slam.

I think the David Terrell (No.1 overall WR) and Marquise Walker (No. 2 overall WR) would be better.  It was 97 or 98, and i can't remember any other WR recruited in that class.
