Washington and Texas fighting to see who gets to lose to Michigan.

Here's a thread for us to comment on it.

Times like this where I am extremely glad that I opted to take the day off tomorrow. Sitting at home cracking open a few beers after an extremely stressful but exhilarating afternoon, watching a very entertaining football game stress free, and knowing that the wife is handling taking the kids to school tomorrow.

I did not realize Ethan Burkes is a stud already for Texas, too bad we couldn't hold onto him but we have an embarrassment of riches on the DL.

Washington has really good receivers but I feel like Michigan can employ a similar defense that they did against Ohio St. I feel like Ewers isn’t as good as Penix but I’d rather play Washington because I think they are more one dimensional

I was heartened to see Michigan's Zinter-less o-line hold up better than expected against Bama today.  I will look closer on rewatch, but I think our o-line will be a mismatch against either defensive front, Texas or Washington.  Yes, T'Vondre Sweat is very good but double him effectively and we'll be alright.  Should be able to run the rock effectively.

Just keep in mind as you watch this game that the committee screwed over FSU to get the "best four" teams in.

That's right.  These are supposed to be two of the best teams in the country.  At football.

Simple 4 man zone, and they dropped a LB late.  They have to worry about the run with LBs and safeties.  Michigan won't have to do that against UW - they can play the OSU defense.  DL will handle the UW run game, which isn't awe-inspiring, while dropping 6-7 all night.  Also, Will Johnson, Mike Sainristil, and (probably) Rod Moore are better individual players than the UT DBs.
