OT- World Series Game Five Open Thread

I figured this is a relevant thread because there seem to be a lot of Cubs fans on here (and fuck Cleveland). Bottom of the second, 1-0 Indians.

Also, there was a Harbaugh shoutout earlier. Pretty cool, considering the announcers could've picked any football coach. Edit- didn't realize Harbaugh was there.

The Cubs stuck the best Tigers team of my life with the frickin' Padres as their whipping boys for the series in '84 when they choked the NLCS away. Ever since then I have lost all sympathy for them and hope their curse goes forever. We could have had a classic series at Wrigley and Tiger stadium and we got San Diego...screw 'em

It's always nice to see Harbaugh taking a moment to enjoy himself in the midst of the season, and of course he brought his glove. I actually would have thought it strange if he hadn't.

Someone did try to make a thread with just this picture, which was not a bad idea, but the image didn't show and a thread with the correction made by someone else in the middle of the thread isn't an altogether effective thread.

since it looks like they're going to lose the series. 70+ years of not making it, and you finally, FINALLY make it and don't win it all. Gut-wrenching

Obviously they could come back and win it in 7, but obviously not looking like that'll happen. To make it worse, this makes Ohioans double happy this year
