OT - What Are You Doing for Mother's Day?
Mates,
So with Mother's Day only hours away you all better have made plans to spoil the mothers in your life. In reality its a combination of wife day, mother's day, and GF day, but with no football to miss. Common gifts include flowers, fancy meals, visits to mom, or in our case, acts of service (clean house for mgowife).
So the simple question is: What are you doing for the mothers in your life?
With a shout out to our lady mgobloggers who are the moms, happy Mother's day, ladies.

Is that near the Pyramidal Tracts?
Of my wife telling me I better the hell be careful to not make her a Mom again.
Other than that, cook and bake her favorite foods while she polishes off a bottle of her favorite wine.
stow the rain coat, be fruitful and multiply!
I was told to make dinner for the entire family, and none of that cheap stuff. So some grass-fed, thick cut NY strips with all the fixings it is.
How many shots of bourbon will I have before dinner is the real question? And seeing that my mother in law does not approve of alcohol, how much discussion will follow?
Both my sister and I have to work tomorrow so we got the family and my aunt together last night and cooked up a bountious feast for them along with cards and flowers. It was great. As for a gift, I have an edible arrangement going to my Mom Wednesday because Mother's Day is tomorrow and her birthday is the following Sunday so I figured why not split the difference.
My mom is in Florida, so going to visit my Grandparents.
Having brunch with my husband, kids and my mother. We have a strained relationship but I feel strongly about doing the right thing and making sure our mothers have an event to go to on Mother's Day. My husband's mother will be with her other son, so everyone is taken care of.
My mother is taking me to the hospital for a follow up post bike accident last week. That's the same thing as me doing something nice for her, right?
Mothers generally consider their children surviving accidents as "doing something nice" for them, so YES.
All the mothers in my life are a blessing. I already sent my mom a nice collage of pictures of her granddaughter and a nice card. I am getting my wife a bouquet of flowers and a $30 scratch off ticket. Gambling is our vice.
My mom insists on going to olive garden. I can't wait to eat expensive, microwaved food. :[
Slow-cooking a 7lb brisket for my wife. She's gonna eat well tomorrow.
We'll be going to the hospital to see our new grandson. I don't think it gets much better than that!
all the love without the labor pains.
congrats, that is great news for you/your family.
Got a huge bone-in, dry-aged sirloin for my wife along with a 2000 Chateau Leoville Poyferre that I've been holding since 2006.
