OT: Update on McCarthy (NTM)
Per MgoBlog lingo, Not That McCarthy...if you fell for the head-fake in my headline, you haven't been paying attention.
Rather, author Cormac McCarthy. Knopf will release not one but two new novels by McCarthy this fall.
Certainly one of my favorite American authors of the last half century. I know he has a lot of fans on this site from previous book discussions we've had. I'd been growing concerned that we might not get another book from him (he's 88 years old), so to get two is amazing. Judging by the capsule summaries in this article, it doesn't look like he's shying away from the really Big Themes in his golden years.
Honest answer...would would you have posted this here if his name were Cormac McCarthur?

I love Cormac McCarthy as a novelist, but I still haven't forgiven him for writing the screenplay for the film, 'The Counselor.'
