THIS THREAD IS OT!

Getting married 2/1/20 and trying to find a good groomsmen gift idea. I’m trying to find something relatively practical that will actually get used, not just hauled around from house to house for the next 30+ years of everyone’s lives.

Most of what I see are glasses for beer or whiskey, flasks, cigar stuff, watches, customized bags, wallets, knives etc. Naturally, I’d like my gift to be more special than just any other wedding my guys have been in, but it’s about impossible to find a common gift that’s useful for each guy since they are all so different. I’m considering different gifts for each as a solution.

Curious if anyone has come across any cool gifts in their time? Thanks for the help!

TL;DR: good groomsmen gift idea?

I got my guys a leatherman, customized yeti travel mugs (monogrammed or relevant sports logos if monogramming wasn’t their style), and matching socks and ties for the wedding. Guys seemed excited and appreciative. Amusingly, I’ve gotten the most grateful comments about the least expensive thing— the socks...

when one of my college buddies got married, he gave us all a stainless steel flask that has a side compartment that can hold a cigar and had our names engraved on them.

Buy each of your groomsmen a gift that goes well with a great story about something you did with them or that happened to you both together.  I did that and it worked very well and the guys truly enjoyed it!?
