Air Noland, the four-star QB commit who's ranked No. 47 in the 2024 class, is now looking at taking official visits to Oregon and LSU. You hate to see it!

Kid may be ranked a 4 star, but he's clearly got a 5 star name for a QB. Some great opportunities for any announcer when he "airs it out", etc.. 🙂

Probably has a better chance playing with Oregon and LSU. Right now, osu has McCord and Devin Brown, both highly rated QBs with years of eligibility remaining. Those 2 can be the Qbs for osu for the next 3-4 years if Noland doesn't beat them. LSU really doesn't have anyone ofter their senior leaves, and Oregon somehow still has bo nix. Easier path to starting at other schools right now.

They could throw a 3 star nobody back there and that kid would still throw for 3000 yards and 30 TDs. You've got the best receivers in the country lining up to play for OSU on a year to year basis these days, all of whom can out-athlete their competition 10-11 weeks out of the year. Usually their first read is wide open.

I don't think their QB play is going to drop off too much (relatively speaking), regardless of who they stick back there.

Yeah, it's the type of offense where there's a base level of ability required but otherwise you're going to get a pretty effective QB performance out of it.  Obviously better QB talent will reach greater heights but yeah, as long as they have a guy who can run a little and throw to NFL WRs you'll do fine.

Well, until they run into teams that can take away their 1st reads consistently and then they suddenly don't like cold or have the flu.

No need for them to worry. They have Kyle McCord who already is projected as a possible 1st round pick and every Buckeye I've heard said he's better than Stroud!!!

The talk about McCord being better than Stroud is in the area of playing much better under pressure. But that talk of being better in one area has probably been conflated into being better than Stroud at everything.

First Raiola and now possibly Noland.  This is a direct result of beating them twice and having the upper hand in the Big Ten, not to mention the realization we are taking the Ohio recruits now.

Ummmm, that rumor started with a satirical post from a tweeter named Swanky Wolverine.

He is famous on twitter for photo shopping anything and everything that has to do with Michigan.

This is not true. But it shows the power of suggestion on a social media site

The only reason I care about this news is that I thought 11Warpedbrains would have some Sky-Is-Falling rants for my amusement before I hit the gym, but nothing yet.
