OT: NBA Finals Game 7 Open Thread + Sunday Drinking

Submitted by Humen on

Tip off 8:00 PM EST on ABC/WatchESPN --- Cleveland Cavaliers @ Golden State Warriors

GSW favored at -4.5 or -5

Tonight's possible outcomes:

1) GSW begins a dynasty by repeating

2) LBJ comes through for CLE and starts an intensive rivalry, furthering his legacy

3) Harbaugh (Why? Because)

Should be a great game. DISCUSS.

Green won't remain that hot but Golden State just has too many options to lose this one. If Thompson or Curry really heat up then I'd expect GS by 10. LeBron is acting like LeBron but he's still the best player on the floor. I'd like to see Irving get more involved to keep it close. Solid game though and what you'd expect with all that talent.

It's not even funny.  The refs let Cavs back in this third qtr.  I'm so sick of this brute like Kentucky ball from the Cavs.  Are they just more physical?  Yeah but half the time they go to the lane they either push off of lower their shoulder.  Tell tail sign of this is that Lebron hasn't hit a jumper all night.

Draymond Green having an all time great game 7 is not ideal. Might almost prefer Clevaland Ohio to win. We'll never hear the end of it about Green's game if GS wins this one.

Foul or a timeout every other time down the floor. Does each team really need 8 timeouts plus commercial breaks, end of quarters and halftime. Great game though

This is one of the best bball games I have ever seen -- given how close it is, the enormity of the moment, how well the best players are playing, the impact on the legacies of Steph and Lebron and cleveland etc. Not sure its worth $49K/ticket, but its oozing with awesome. Feels like it is more than living up to the expectations.

I'm largely indifferent to what happens tonight, but watching the state of Ohio continue to wander the barren wasteland of championship drought would be enjoyable.

I'm not going to pretend I dislike Draymond Green enough to really care if he wins a second ring tonight.
