OT: Multiple Choice Poll: Your Hopes For The 2024 Chargers.

Submitted by KansasBlue on February 13th, 2024 at 12:08 PM

What kind of season are you hoping for when it comes to the 2024 Chargers and why?  Do you even care at all?  Just curious how others in this community feel about this....I'm not sure where I am yet and may not know until the season actually starts.  Yes, Harbaugh will ultimately be judged on the totality of his time coaching the team, but for this specific post I'm only focused on what you want to happen this next season.

1. The team actually gets worse.

2. Same underachieving group, same results.

3. Marked improvement, make the playoffs.

4.  Unbelievable turnaround, deep playoff run.

5.  Miracle season, Super Bowl champs.

6. Don't care.  Yes, I actually mean I will not follow how the Chargers perform and even if someone told me it wouldn't matter to me.

I think Harbaugh is a Michigan Man to the core, so I’ll follow his Chargers while rooting for the Lions.

When he made his Lombardi comment he, essentially, put the NFL on notice. After watching him complete his objective at Michigan, it’ll be intriguing to watch him complete his NFL objective. He keeps his word and doesn’t quit until the job is done.

I wish Harbaugh success.  I do think Harbaugh still loves Michigan but has a job to do, hence him bringing along several of his staff.  One thing I learned in 34 years of corporate America is to not burn bridges.  Harbaugh success in the NFL may lead to continued benefits for Michigan as we maintain a relationship with him.

6. Won't follow the Chargers, no. I'll pull for Jim in some "by the way" way, the guy is a Michigan legend and has a case to be THE Michigan legend, but I certainly won't be pulling for the Chargers franchise per se

If they do poorly then it's Jeremy Clarkson's "oh no. anyway..." But I hope Jim gets some satisfaction from this experience, whatever that may be.

Chiefs / Bears

Jags when Denard was there, now not so much

Patriots with Brady

Lions for son

Bengals for another son

Browns to see if they’ll ever get over the hump

Green Bay

Vikings

Denver

Chargers

Damn Raiders (A’s, Yankees, St Louis Cards would be here as well)

guess that gives Chargers a 1.2 on this poll

I hope they go 0-17 and the entire staff is fired after year 1. Of course now we have posters trying to let Harbaugh off the hook for raiding Michigan entire defensive staff. I'm clearly still bitter.

Honestly Idc I'm ready to move on to Moore and those who stay.

6. I'm a Lions fan and their future looks great. So the NFL should be fun the next several years with the Lions. I hope Harbaugh does well but he will have to compete with Kansas City, no easy task.

Harbaugh makes San Diego slightly interesting.  But LA is a Rams, Raiders and even Niners town before Chargers.  They are cursed…and something will happen…even Harbaugh can’t break this curse.

6.  Not angry at Harbaugh but he's not "my guy" anymore, Sherrone is.  The Chargers have never been my NFL team and that hasn't changed. I always wish former players well.  I was excited to see Money Moody dropping in 50plus yard FGs but that doesn't mean I was rooting for the 49ers. (My daughter's HS classmate plays for the Chiefs- that's a more compelling draw)
