OT: Kevin Koger Interviews for Packers OC Job

Not particularly relevant to the Michigan coaching search right now, but it’s nice to see how many (fairly) recent Michigan football players are having great success in the coaching ranks.

If the trend of coaches returning to their alma maters sticks for a while it feels like Michigan is in as good of shape as anyone.

Rogers is still skeptical of the benefits of having an offensive coordinator, until he does more research on Youtube. So far he's swayed by user UnclerRico69's argument that buying a time machine online to go back in time and get back in the 4th quarter is the best bet. Just think how many time machines the Packers could buy for only a fraction of the cost of hiring an OC. The only thing that he's not sure about yet is how long the power crystals are on backorder from China.

Seriously?

Wow... that's pretty damn impressive if he's already interviewing for OC jobs! It doesn't seem that long ago that he was playing here.

Good luck to the kid! Seems like a coach that is a fast riser.

It would be really interesting to see what a potential coaching staff made up of former Michigan players might look like. There are a ton of former players currently in the college or pro ranks.

Have to think you could put together one of the best college coaching staffs and a pretty good NFL staff.

In 2016 I went to the game in Columbus and sat in small Michigan section off one of the endzones. We were taking the usual abuse . But I'll never forget one time I had to use the bathroom and I timed it perfectly by luck that Kevin Koger had to also use the bathroom. As we're waiting in line he literally said whatever he wanted checked the OSU fan base so beautifully and in Alpha mode.  Let's just say I felt very safe and it was one of the less abusive bathroom visits in Columbus. Lots of Respect for this young man!
