Thamel also tweeted that per his sources, Ewers is expected to use his connections to other top 2022 Texas recruits to his next destination. Here’s hoping he takes the OSU commits with him.
Next one will be when they announce Day to the Bears. My conspiracy theory is that Fickell knows he is leaving and that’s why he did not go to Notre Dame.

Doesn't matter how many Texas blue chippers OSU lands if Day can't find a way to fix that porous defense. We weren't the only team to light it up on OSU. Quite a few others have done the same over the last couple of years.

Is he possibly heading to Michigan? There's been talk from a writer at 247 that JJ McCarthy could transfer. If he does, then Ewers would be a nice pick up. One year behind Cade, getting playing time, like McCarthy did this year, then next year taking over After Cade goes pro. Sounds really nice.

Not a big deal for OSU at all. They just got a commitment from the #5 QB for the 2022 class Devin Brown. Day knew this was happening. Not a huge surprise to the insiders. He wasn’t ready for college football mentally at all. He should be in the texas high school football playoffs right now. Never seemed like a good thing him reclassifying. McCord and Brown will compete for the 2023 starters job. Ewers to LSU would make sense and a big splash I think with the Kelley hire.

99% chance he ends up at Texas or Texas A&M. He originally committed to Texas before decommitting and announcing for OSU. Plus, it's well known that he's homesick.
