It is sort of crazy that after basically never pulling guys from the black hole of Mississippi, it looks like Michigan will get 3 from the flagship school in a day.

to want your coach to put some faith in the QBs he already has. As a big Brandon Peters believer, I am a little concerned that Harbaugh might be issuing a guarantee to Patterson. Do not want another O'Korn like situation that only flames out. Peters has all the tools!

I don't think Harbaugh ever issues a guarantee to anyone, particularly not anyone who has never played for the team he's coaching. He didn't play Wayne Lyons or John O'Korn even though he convinced them to transfer here, and while Patterson is more high-profile, I'd be surprised if he were any different.

I don’t think you’re looking at the big picture. Peters & DM were behind O’Korn on the depth chart. Let that sink in for a bit. You can’t pull the “Oh they’re young... Oh they need time to develop... Oh they’re still learning the system”. There are true freshmen qb’s who arrive on campus all the time and take over programs. I’m not saying Peters & DM aren’t good qb’s, but we’re talking about a potentially great qb arriving on campus. Coach’s responsibility is to the team, not any individual(s).

I think we know that Harbaugh knows what he's doing and that the players know that nothing is guaranteed.

If anything, it's a wake up call to all QBs now on the team that they have to earn the right to start.

this is awesome.  I do have that worry about Peters feeling slighted about Shea..but then again Jim always preaches competition and Peters is only getting better, and if you have a 5 star athletic QB wanting to play for the good guys....you make it happen.  We swapped Wilton for Shea, sooo....yay
