Official Score Prediction and game narrative thread

As much I think this has the chance to be a pushover with UM strangling out UW to the tune of 38-18, I respect 14-0 and Deboer and think they're going to look really good early and we're looking at something like 14-10 deficit after 1.  We'll take the lead just before the half 20-17.  They'll hand around in the third through some Penix/WR heroics to sit at 27-24 (good guys) and they'll run out of gas with no running game in the 4th.  The 4th quarter will see Penix's first Int, which will, sadly only lead to a FG to make it 37-24, and thus keep UW in contact.  The game will end 37-31, with us sitting on the ball and not scoring, although cutting through their exhausted DL with ease.

Prediction: at least once, one of M’s defensive bigs reads a screen coming, drops out of his pass rush, gets his hands up and knock down the pass. For style points: it will be McGregor.

Michigan runs the ball efficiently and controls the clock.  The defense gets a few stops in the first half and it's over by half, 24-7 at that point.

34-14 good guys

42-28 Michigan.

Michigan should get 200+ yds rushing. They'll rush more in the second half to keep Washington's offense on the sidelines. Winning the TOP will be very important in this game and our guys will own the clock.

GO BLUE!!

I have no freakin clue how this game will go

I can see a rather comfy win, and I dont have to squint hard to see it, we have seen this blueprint before.

But Ive watched too many UW games this year where they pulled one out of their asses from being deep in a hole...if they bring that game, the comfy win happens.

31-25 Michigan. I see it 14-10 at halftime. I think the 25 comes inside of a minute left with a field goal and they don’t recover an onside kick. Michigan runs out the clock and wins the National Championship!!
