Northwestern getting shit on in Evanston by Mike Elko's Duke.

Any hope Texas had just went right out the window.
Bama has a tendency of knocking Texas QBs out early. First Colt McCoy and now Ewers.

Love Klatt as an analyst…but that was as dirty as dirty gets!

Really hating Josh Gattis watching Worthy torch Bama rn.
September 10th, 2022 at 12:51 PM ^
What does josh gattis have to do with this..
September 10th, 2022 at 12:52 PM ^
Iykyk
September 10th, 2022 at 12:54 PM ^
Allegedly he was pushing up on Worthy’s mom(if you ever saw her, can’t be mad at the guy) and it effected the recruitment in some way.
September 10th, 2022 at 12:57 PM ^
Gattis is Miami's (YTM) offensive coordinator, and Miami is playing right now, so I doubt it. Maybe Gattis is DVRing it?
September 10th, 2022 at 12:58 PM ^
Honestly, the propagation of this rumor looks like it has the problems reversed, unfairly for Gattis. The allegation is that Gattis acted improperly in a way that harmed the relationship with the Worthy camp and thus lost confidence within the Michigan athletic department.
But the stuff that people close to the program like Seth have given credence to reverses the situation: Michigan biffed Worthy’s admission, and Gattis was angry about that and his response is what contributed to the frayed relationship.
It isn’t as salacious, but it is much likelier. And the upshot is that we could have both Gattis and Worthy if that didn’t get messed up. You are probably angry at the wrong person.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:00 PM ^
I’m curious for details. Did I miss a story on Gattis and Worthy?

Hate to see Alabama having so much luck (which it doesn’t need) against an overmatched opponent.
-Texas robbed of a TD on its starting drive by the refs
-QB injured (cheap shot or not, just snake bitten)
and on to the second quarter…
September 10th, 2022 at 12:54 PM ^
At work for the early games today ao I haven't been able to watch bama v ut very close. Is UT really keeping up with Bama? Tied 10-10 in 2nd?? Whaaaa?
September 10th, 2022 at 12:57 PM ^
Both have had the ball twice on offense…surprisingly Texas has looked really good and drove deep into Bama territory on every drive
September 10th, 2022 at 1:00 PM ^
A Bama defender probably broke Ewers' collarbone with a late hit, so who knows how this is going.
September 10th, 2022 at 12:54 PM ^
Sucks for Ewers but that's why we need BOTH Cade and JJ on this team.
September 10th, 2022 at 12:56 PM ^
Arkansas State isn't going to beat Ohio State in the shoe by kicking field goals. See, I know the game.
September 10th, 2022 at 12:59 PM ^
So if Wake Forest is beating Vandy 21-3…and Vandy beat Hawaii 63-10…how many can Michigan score against Hawaii?🤔
September 10th, 2022 at 1:00 PM ^
And a dropped interception by Texas?
Its amazing all the breaks a team can get that doesn’t need them.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:05 PM ^
Their defense has actually held up well in this half
September 10th, 2022 at 1:31 PM ^
Alabama does need those breaks though. They look rusty, or maybe just a worse team than usual.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:01 PM ^
Damn. Texas is playing better.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:04 PM ^
If Ewers weren’t hurt this would look like a long, tough game for Bama. A win, but a challenging one. Crowd is hyped, Texas has answered early challenges, etc.
But hard to see it staying close now. Maybe a 3Q pull away.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:09 PM ^
Ppl Texas is in this game…as long as the crowd and Worthy are on point, they will be in this from what it looks like.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:04 PM ^
If Texas has a good defense, they probably are "back".
September 10th, 2022 at 1:05 PM ^
No pressure on Young. That’s not a recipe for defensive success.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:07 PM ^
Unless they blitz. So that worked.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:08 PM ^
You spoke too soon.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:07 PM ^
I know that transative properties don't apply in college football, but at the moment it would appear, at least, that a>b where a=Duke-Northwestern while b=Ohio State-Arkansas State.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:07 PM ^
Watching Bama game I realize how good our WRs block.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:08 PM ^
Texas defense looks good.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:08 PM ^
Yeah, the Texas defense is looking fierce.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:09 PM ^
And lol, I bet Nick wish this game was at a neutral site.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:09 PM ^
Texas defense looks solid but Alabama also looks a bit unprepared for what Texas is throwing at them. That's not what I expect to see from a Saban-coached team.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:10 PM ^
Is Michigan the only team that ever gets called for violating the two-yard halo rule for punt catches?
September 10th, 2022 at 1:10 PM ^
Turn to BTN. In a time out, Arkansas State going for it on 4th and one on the OSU 30.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:13 PM ^
Converted. Jet sweep around end.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:14 PM ^
Defense doesn’t looked as fixed as most were claiming
September 10th, 2022 at 1:22 PM ^
Did you hear the commentary? They allowed no points in the 2nd half against ND. So, they must be very good.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:10 PM ^
Ewers looked really good and of course gets knocked out of the game.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:13 PM ^
Texas run game is going nowhere.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:13 PM ^
With Ewers out you see the air going out of the Texas offense a bit; they don't trust Card to go deep at all. Hopefully he can come back because it can get UGLY for Texas if they can't move the ball vertically.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:15 PM ^
But Card is mobile, they have to use that to their advantage
September 10th, 2022 at 1:21 PM ^
They will (we saw on that last drive) but Alabama's corners seem like more of a weak spot than their front 7, and over the long term I think that'll play against them.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:22 PM ^
Yeah the Texas WR’s have been cooking the Bama DB’s
September 10th, 2022 at 1:13 PM ^
Is this what happens when you don't trust your backup QB to throw?
September 10th, 2022 at 1:15 PM ^
51 on Ohio State is a concern. He flashes into the backfield instantly a lot.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:16 PM ^
Sigh. Arkansas State has 153 yards and 8 first downs, but only 3 field goals: 17-9 with 5 and change left in the half.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:19 PM ^
OSU Def is so good they stopped Ark St 3 times in the Rz or close to it. /s
September 10th, 2022 at 1:20 PM ^
Miami (YTM) is not as good as this grand revolution back to glory told us.
September 10th, 2022 at 1:24 PM ^
It's...the 2nd game.
