Honestly, the propagation of this rumor looks like it has the problems reversed, unfairly for Gattis. The allegation is that Gattis acted improperly in a way that harmed the relationship with the Worthy camp and thus lost confidence within the Michigan athletic department.

But the stuff that people close to the program like Seth have given credence to reverses the situation: Michigan biffed Worthy’s admission, and Gattis was angry about that and his response is what contributed to the frayed relationship.

It isn’t as salacious, but it is much likelier. And the upshot is that we could have both Gattis and Worthy if that didn’t get messed up. You are probably angry at the wrong person.

Hate to see Alabama having so much luck (which it doesn’t need) against an overmatched opponent.

-Texas robbed of a TD on its starting drive by the refs

-QB injured (cheap shot or not, just snake bitten)

and on to the second quarter…

If Ewers weren’t hurt this would look like a long, tough game for Bama. A win, but a challenging one. Crowd is hyped, Texas has answered early challenges, etc.

But hard to see it staying close now. Maybe a 3Q pull away.

I know that transative properties don't apply in college football, but at the moment it would appear, at least, that a>b where a=Duke-Northwestern while b=Ohio State-Arkansas State.

Texas defense looks solid but Alabama also looks a bit unprepared for what Texas is throwing at them.  That's not what I expect to see from a Saban-coached team.

With Ewers out you see the air going out of the Texas offense a bit; they don't trust Card to go deep at all.  Hopefully he can come back because it can get UGLY for Texas if they can't move the ball vertically.
