It's his 20 year anniversary of headgear picks.

He's on camera battling post-stroke, I mean it's tough to watch if you actually watch the entire show. He's barely coherant anymore, he couldn't get Desmonds name out in the opening segment and when he finally was able to get something out...he called him "Eric."

The opening segment was so tough he felt the need to address it in his next chance to speak. So he clearly knows what's going on.

Struggled all show and then Rinaldi did a 20 year anniversary segment on his headgear picks while Brutus (the initial headgear) "wrote" him a letter. When they went back to the set, he was in tears. Thanks Herbie and his wife (who used to be a cheerleader) for getting him the Brutus head to kick everything off. He thanked the other crew, the production crew...then he thanked the fans.

Fans went nuts, chanted "CORSO! CORSO! CORSO!" and he couldn't hold it back anymore, he started crying and his mic was open.

Rece Davis did a great job of keeping the show going by honoring him rather than the awkward dead air of listening to him cry.

Half of me hopes he moves on because it's so tough watching him struggle the way he does. When he couldn't get Desmond's name out today it was so uncomfortable.

At the same time, he made the show. Period. So if this is what keeps him going and if this is what brings him happiness in life...fuck my uncomfort, right?

Been saying that for awhile...which they would add him to the set now and make the transition a little easier for everyone.

But Les is saying he still wants to coach.

I'd love to see him in spots this year. Then next year they share the spotlight until Corso hands the baton in the final episode next season.

the only one! One important game to add to your TV schedule, though, takes place in Kalamazoo @ 6:30 tonight: Northern Illinois @ WMU, on CBSSN. Western wins tonight, and the only real remaining obstacles to an undefeated season are EMU and Toledo, both to be played at Waldo Stadium. GO BRONCOS!

Not sure how many saw it, but real nice tribute they did for Lee Corso on  College Gameday . I wonder how many times he has picked the Wolverines. What would he or has he worn picking Michigan ?

Go Blue tonight  !! Lets get a win on this cold October day .

The second best trophy in football - Floyd of Rosedale - is on the line today.

Minnesota's got cool stuff to play for - the Jug, Floyd and Paul Bunyan's Ax.  Unfortunately they rarely win any of them.

Watching this Maryland/Penn St game makes me realize how good of a team Michigan is. Penn St D is having it's way so far and Michigan trounced them.
