Non-CFP Bowl Matchups
As the bowl line-up gets finalized, some interesting matchups.
Be great to see Purdue beat LSU in Citrus Bowl, a matchup of conference championship runner ups.
And would love to watch a hot South Carolina and Spencer Rattler spank the Irish - because to hell with Notre Dame!

Did MSU make a bowl game??

Eastern Michigan did (Famous Idaho Potatoes Bowl in Boise). That's it for the state of Michigan.

Are we sure that is a spud?

Good for the EMU Eagles, the green and white I'll be rooting for.

Closest NCAA team to Ann Arbor (outside of well....duh) so I can't help but not hate them.
Won't ever happen, but it would be fun if Michigan would play some road games at WMU/EMU/CMU just for the sake of invading their stadiums.

Mississippi State - the only MSU with a competitive football team - plays Illinois in the ReliaQuest Bowl. Whatever that is...

I bet RCmB would give you between 5-7 reasons why they should be playing.

A couple of shootouts that I'm looking forward to so far:
Alamo Bowl: Texas vs. Washington
Holiday Bowl: North Carolina vs. Oregon

If Penix plays, that'll be a good game. Not so much, should he opt out.

Penix will rise to the occasion

Oregon is going to do some things to UNC that should be illegal... I don't see UNC on that level.

At least in the old days, but for literally decades, the holiday bowl was year in year out the best bowl game of the year in terms of shootouts, close scores, and back-and-forth games.

Minnesota vs Syracuse at Yankee Stadium.
That'll be fun.

Rattler defeats the Irish--this time, the snake runs them out of the country!

Says Clarence “st Patrick” boddicker

Definitely Purdue over the LSU & Brian Kelly.
Those SC Gamecocks are on the rise, the Irish will get snake bit against Rattler.

Kansas State clapping some Bama cheeks would be nice.
Really looking forward to Purdue/LSU and Texas/UW.

Game looks like trash, but the Bahamas Bowl kind of intrigues me just because of the location. I might plan to go next year since I've never been to the Bahamas and "holding out" for Michigan to get invited seems like a bad plan for so many obvious reasons.

It is very sad that the Rose Bowl has become an afterthought. So much so, that OSU - before USC messed the bed - was requesting the Rose Bowl Committee NOT to invite them. They would've preferred to have gone elsewhere.

Tennessee and Clemson playing in the Orange bowl. I'll at least watch the start of that game because that is a LOT of friggin orange.
