Want a crazy fantasy world thought?

Snubbed by the Heisman, an injured Corum elects to rehab at Michigan and return for his final year...thanks to a monster NIL deal.

Michigan fans panic about what it means for Donovan Edwards (which is so fucking stupid), but it doesn't mean anything.

With All gone...Michigan elects to use 1 TE more often and go more spread. Playing Edwards in All's spot, getting 15 carries and 5 targets a game.

QB: McCarthy

RB: Corum

FLEX: Edwards

WR: Anthony

WR: Wilson

TE: Loveland

LT: Henderson

LG: Keegan

C: Crippen

RG: Zinter

RT: Jones

...notate Bredeson or Henning in, pull Corum and keep the miles down, move Edwards to RB.

Michigan wins back-to-back National Championship, Corum gets his Heisman, rejoice.

Returning production at TE is Loveland and Bredeson. Hibner and Klein developing...but we could use a veteran with how many we rotate that position.

I trust the staff, but to be honest am a little disappointed in the lack of "stars" we are getting. Harbaugh has a track record with lower valued TE prospects though (Schoon, McKeon, Eubanks, Gentry) so I trust the staff but I hope we can elevate some of our recruiting to keep up the level of playmakers and difference makers we have on both sides of the ball: JJs, Edwards, Corums, Mazis, Will Johnsons, and others don't grow on trees.

The 2023 class was boned from Harbaugh playing footsie with the Vikings and our coordinators leaving. Couple that with some key misses on the trail in 50/50 decisions and we are stuck with the clas we have. More than likely we will close on three or four top rates guys (high four star types) to close out the class like we did last year but 2024 will be the class where you can expec to see an uptick in recruiting. But even the , the staff trusts their evals and we aren’t going to pay A$M money in NIL so expect a couple top tier guys, lots of four stars and a mix of whodat rising guys like always.

TE is a position with very few recruiting "stars", so you are destined to be disappointed.

Colston Loveland was the #14 TE in the 247 Composite.  He seems pretty good, and a nice consolation after the staff couldn't land #2 TE Oscar Delp (GA kid who went to GA, if I remember right Michigan was on him first before he blew up).

Other than Brock Bowers (#3 TE in 2021) and Michael Mayer (#2 TE in 2020), you won't find all that many recognizable names on the list of TEs.

This will be a good get if we land him. Play him alongside Loveland for the next two years; and in year 2 we can ease in Brady Prieskorn (Top-100 c/o 2024) like we did Loveland this year.
