Multiple crystal balls for Isaiah Todd to Michigan
All 3 are from guys that have 80% or higher CB accuracy. One is a national guy, a Duke writer and a Kentucky writer.
This comes just after Isaiah Todd announced his top-2.

I’ve decided that I’m ok with this.

Us getting a highly ranked basketball recruit? Did i wake up in another dimension today?
October 7th, 2019 at 1:00 PM ^
Todd is probably just a big fan of Zach Novak.
October 7th, 2019 at 10:54 AM ^
What a huge get this would be. If he gets the first domino to fall he could bring in a really good class.
October 7th, 2019 at 11:14 AM ^
Njvictors and that other bum need to eat a lemon.
October 7th, 2019 at 1:49 PM ^
Lol excuse me for being slightly pessimistic. If we can pull all these guys that we've currently offered, then fantastic. My only gripe was that I wish Howard was putting out some offers to some lower rated guys as a safety net since we're going up against some big dogs for the guys we've currently offered who are all top 40 guys
October 7th, 2019 at 12:20 PM ^
why in the world would Kentucky not take him? he is the number 12 overall! is he overranked, or does kentucky just have the number 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 kid this year????
I don't get why he is not a take for them.
October 7th, 2019 at 12:30 PM ^
Because they are nearly full and Todd's thought to be 50-50 on playing overseas. UK would be turning away another highly ranked prospect for a player whose commitment isn't solid.
October 7th, 2019 at 10:54 AM ^
This is great news, but I feel like it's going to be a rollercoaster ten days before his announcement. Hang on Juwan!
October 7th, 2019 at 10:56 AM ^
His mom was apparently liking Michigan tweets while they were on their visit to kansas. According to everything on this recruitment she is a HUGE part of it.
October 7th, 2019 at 11:00 AM ^
Juwan is going to be hard to stop with moms, and families in general. Whether he can coach a lick or not, he is seriously one of the most likeable guys in history.
October 7th, 2019 at 11:11 AM ^
Martelli handles the coaching. Juwan handles the parents. . .
October 7th, 2019 at 12:16 PM ^
I doubt Spo and Riley wouldn’t have him on staff for about a decade on the Heat if he couldn’t coach a lick.
October 7th, 2019 at 1:12 PM ^
The Pistons gave Rasheed Wallace a coaching job.
October 7th, 2019 at 6:00 PM ^
And your point is...? Sheed was considered to be one of the smartest basketball player in the league so it shouldn't be surprising that he was asked to be on the coaching staff.
October 7th, 2019 at 3:12 PM ^
Several players and respected coaches have spoken highly of Juwans coaching ability. I get he’s a head coach now but it’s not likes he’s learning a new sport.
I see a young Juwan like PF thinking he can learn from a smart high character 20 yr NBA veteran.
October 7th, 2019 at 12:38 PM ^
I would think based on his NBA experiences that he should be just fine as a coach. It seemed like he was about to get a head coaching NBA gig.
October 7th, 2019 at 11:02 AM ^
If true, I may end up liking her as much as Beate Wagner (Mo and Franz Wagner's mom).
October 7th, 2019 at 11:02 AM ^
That, and Snoop was performing with chicks on stripper poles and a money machine shooting fake $100.00 bills.
October 7th, 2019 at 11:33 AM ^
Not to thread jack, but I very rarely consume news with volume on, so I watched that clip silently until the other day. The fact that snoop "performed" dead-ass uncut and uncensored including every single bi***, motherf***er, ni**a, etc etc etc combined with the dancers and the money gun absolutely BLEW MY MIND considering the scrutiny Kansas is under right now.
For the record, this is not a pearl-clutching, "save the children from obscenity" complaint, this is incredulity at either the most colossal out of touch PR f-up or insane suicidal middle finger to the NCAA imaginable.
October 7th, 2019 at 12:43 PM ^
Thats so wrong. How dare he shoot fake Bills and not real ones.
October 7th, 2019 at 1:51 PM ^
You mean most mothers aren't on board with this?
October 7th, 2019 at 10:58 AM ^
Counterpoint: he had zero Michigan crystal balls before his top 2 so how much can we really trust them in this instance? Doesnt seem these insiders really have any sources in Todd's camp
October 7th, 2019 at 11:01 AM ^
This is true. Guys that had gone with their prospective schools most times flip to the wild card when their school is outta the running. Hoping that isnt the case this time.
October 7th, 2019 at 11:03 AM ^
One of them is a Duke writer and he’s from NC.
October 7th, 2019 at 11:16 AM ^
They knew he favored Kentucky. They didn't know Kentucky would take themselves out of the running. That fact was confirmed by Todd. Could be their only sources are in Todd's camp.
October 7th, 2019 at 11:17 AM ^
Because it's recruiting and things change on a dime? I never understand this criticism of the system. He probably was favoring Kentucky until they wouldn't let him take an official visit. I know they're called Crystal Balls, but these writers aren't future tellers. They put in predictions based on the information they currently have. When the situation changes and they get new information from their sources, then the Crystal Balls change.
October 7th, 2019 at 11:39 AM ^
There may be no new insider info, but when it is between us and KU, who isn't exactly in the best position for the foreseeable future, it's possible these guys' have "gut" instincts about where he will land.
October 7th, 2019 at 2:54 PM ^
Rivals has their own version. Their national analyst, Corey Evans put in a pick for Kansas yesterday and switched it to Michigan an hour ago. He's well respected and I predict more will follow his lead.
October 7th, 2019 at 2:59 PM ^
And it's already happening. 247's top national recruiting expert changed his pick to Michigan 10 minutes after Evans did.

Kansas Snoop Dogg stripper show may backfire here
It seems Todd goes to Christian school (Word of God Christian Academy), tweets a bunch of Christian uplifting stuff, etc. I'd assume his mom is a Christian woman as well so their stripper show may be a HUGE turnoff for his family
October 7th, 2019 at 11:25 AM ^
I choose to live in a reality where Snoop helps us recruit by infiltrating conservative recruiting grounds like some kind of reverse role-model
October 7th, 2019 at 11:28 AM ^
At some point, doesn't the fact that Kansas is staring down the barrel of major penalties including a Show-Cause against their dirty coach have to matter? That kid who de-committed from UM and went to Kansas after Beilein left might get to play in one NCAA tournament only because Kansas will drag this thing out. (Admittedly, I am foolishly buying into the notion that the NCAA will actually do something meaningful in this case. A little bit of Charlie Brown and Lucy on my part, but I think the hard nature of the evidence and the overall disgust with the corruption in college sports will be enough to make the NCAA act for real here.)
October 7th, 2019 at 11:42 AM ^
I would like to believe that it's that, plus the snoop dogg show breaking the camel's back in our favor. But then, why would KU be in the top 2 anyway? I don't know. All I know is GO BLUE!
Also, I had to look him up, as I don't follow any recruiting that closely these days. Consensus 5* power forward at 6'10" and 195 lbs; number 10 overall to Rivals; number 7 to ESPN; number 12 to 247.
October 7th, 2019 at 1:01 PM ^
did not know that about the kid. i could see that being a complete, deal-breaking (for KU) consideration. if i had a crystal ball, i'd say the kid is going blue, period end of story. and i'll have robf eat lemon if i'm wrong....
October 7th, 2019 at 1:17 PM ^
Go into any strip club and you'll find it's customer base populated mostly by Christian men.
October 7th, 2019 at 4:34 PM ^
they aren't 'Christian' any more than you or i are a 'car' because we've been in a garage.
October 7th, 2019 at 7:39 PM ^
How do you know that I'm not a car?
October 7th, 2019 at 8:47 PM ^
even i can tell you are a pirate storm trooper. duh.
October 7th, 2019 at 11:10 AM ^
Rumors of him being interested in going overseas instead of college. Doesn't mean he won't play college, but whoever gets his commitment is going to deal with those rumors until he gets on campus.
Would be a monster get.
October 7th, 2019 at 11:25 AM ^
That's funny. So Michigan could have two players on their team next year (Franz) who turned down overseas money to play for Juwan Howard.
October 7th, 2019 at 11:19 AM ^
He's a potential 2021 Lottery pick. Kid has un real upside, I think the michigan strength staff will unlock is potential.
October 7th, 2019 at 11:41 AM ^
Hell yeah!
October 7th, 2019 at 11:54 AM ^
I always found it odd that she named the character after food. Hello, my dear little Lamb Chop *knife and fork behind back*
October 7th, 2019 at 1:03 PM ^
This is the song that never ends...
October 7th, 2019 at 11:43 AM ^
Man this would be huge if he came here. In looking at his highlights, this guy is an absolute stud. He has a huge upside. Even if he was only here one year, what a ride that'll be. Crossing fingers.
October 7th, 2019 at 11:43 AM ^
This is a player that is in Howard's wheelhouse. He can pitch to him that he'll basically be his personal big-man coach for getting ready for the NBA. How many other coaches can pitch that kind of deal to a 6-10 kid?
If I were projected as an NBA 4, is there any college coach better suited to develop me for the NBA than Howard?
