MSU coach arrested in front of football team

Submitted by Big Boutros on

According to Triple G Gregg Henson early this morning:

High profile coach led out of the football building, big time player led off MSU campus in handcuffs.

And reported on the radio minutes ago by Ryan Schuiling:

So listening to @RyanSchuiling show and he just mentioned a staffer/coach was arrested during a morning meeting, fairly public manner. Ugh.

ugly times in EL.

[Ed-Ace: Locked the thread. The OP is fine. The allegations that led to this arrest (sexual assault) are not a joking matter, however, and much of what was in the comments crossed that line. This is not rivalry trolling material. The basketball team gave you all more than enough of that on Tuesday.]

None of the names have come out. You would figure ONE player would have tweeted or made it public when their coach was taken off in the middle of a meeting.

When it happens at Michigan, the names always come out.  For some reason, Sparty sycophants in the media still cover up the names of the perpetrators.  This is how their entire rape culture started in the first place.

You HAD to have had that one at the ready for deployment.  But you waited....waited as thread after thread of bad news for Sparty was posted and didnt pull the trigger.  You waited, like General George Meade himself  at Gettysburg for the Confederettes to inch closer and closer before pulling the trigger and posting it when the Sparty's were finally in the killing zone.

Well done man.  Very well done.

I avidly dislike that program, but this underscores that the accusations are, to use the correct legal term ... pretty fucking serious.  I have a strong appetite for Spartanfreude (TM), but this seems like something much worse than the usual fare.

No cause for celebration by my lights.

I assume they were the events that happened yesterday, and the arrests actually happened yesterday.  Yesterday's announcement said they had all be suspended, it wouldn't make sense for them to be at a team meeting today.

Only other explanation is that it's an entirely different event involving both a coach and a player and that seems implausible.
