Not good. Can’t help but to wonder what this means for the champions circle. One hand, hopefully this is a rogue booster. On the other hand, this has been a shit show and valiant runs both the collective and the agency for the players.

On the one foot, boosters it’s easier than ever for boosters to stay clean. On the other foot, they’re finding new ways to do the impossible.

Another factor that may or may not be an issue is that partridge was right in the middle of the mpower initiative. He even wore the mpower hoodie on the sidelines

No wonder that JH has flirted with the NFL while at Michigan.  Why would anyone want to deal with all of this nonsense, when you can live like a king in the NFL without all the hassle.

As much as I love Harbaugh and believe his role in this whole scandal is minimal, everyone should be asking themselves are these distractions (more than likely serious infractions) worth it?

If this season ends up with a “ride off in sunset” situation for Harbaugh to the NFL and the draft-eligible players after winning the CFP, I don’t think I would be too upset. Maybe I’m the only one but after the PSU game, I realized I was less excited about the win and more relieved this controversy would lose its merit and die on its own. After today, it’s less Michigan vs Everybody and closer to Michigan vs Itself.

"are these distractions (more than likely serious infractions) worth it?"

Were you born in 2015?  Of course they're worth it.

CFB is all about money now.  If we want to keep winning, our hands are going to get dirty from time to time.  I'll take the occasional "scandal" if the alternative is losing to OSU every fucking year.

I guess I need to redefine my definitions of “dirty” or “scandal”.

Because I’m all for bending the rules or even playing dumb when presented with blatant violations but once coaches start destroying evidence (causing them to get fired from their careers) and donors begin funneling money into an obvious uncouth scheme, I think it’s fair to question the direction of the program.

The assumption that scandals are worth it as long as they lead to wins often has the reverse effect once the jig is up. And right now, this is a bad jig.

This is all very stupid. It’s a level of dumbassery that is hard to fathom. A lot of work and money for something that doesn’t yield a substantial advantage.

It seems like it’s all risk and no reward. How do people run successful companies and be this fucking stupid?

It's just so Michigan that we finally have a booster doing shady stuff, and it's shady stuff that's incredibly stupid and non-critical for any success. No 5-star recruits, no hookers, no blow, just dumbassery.

And that an assistant was dumb enough to try to destroy digital evidence of this incredibly stupid and non-essential stuff is just the topper.

The worst part of this is that we haven't learned anything substantively new today except, what we are assuming, that CP tried to cover it up and is fired.    Other than that, nothing really new, but the media that cares has more gasoline to pour on the embers to keep it this alive.

CS was giving tickets to people to go to games.

OSU still had full dictionaries of UM's signs.  (as did Rutgers, as did Purdue...)

Nobody had any substantive advantage in any games.

That's still it.

The Uncle T news is actually GREAT news for us. Stallions money didn’t come from coaching staff, came from this rando. We should be celebrating this small victory.

What is Champions Circle?

Champions Circle™ is a community of fans, alumni, and supporters whose goal is empowering University of Michigan student-athletes to be the leaders and best through name, image, and likeness.

Champions Circle™ is committed to operating within the NCAA and university guidelines, to ensure Michigan remains at the forefront of college athletics. Champions Circle™ partners with Valiant Management Group (VMG) to hold our NIL events and help with fundraising and marketing activities.

Whether you're a student, alumni or fan, it’s great to be a Michigan Wolverine. This is your opportunity to make an impact on student-athletes and help Michigan win championships across all sports.

Always great when you can pull an NIL group in, what a bunch of idiots, this is going to turn into a massive fishing expedition. I guess they didn't specify if it would be a negative or positive impact, and if the championship would be vacated.
