Not really, fleck lost his biggest games of the year when they needed to win to go to the big title and guess what?  They lost with a team of senior wide receivers and senior running backs.

Wait till next year when all those star players are gone.

Minn will go 8-4 at best next year

Oct 17, 2020, Michigan at Minnesota.  What will the *we can't do better than Harbaugh* crowd say after Fleck beats his ass with a bunch of lower recruits.

We can do better than Harbaugh.  I'd take Scott Satterfield in heartbeat.  Won 8 games with a team that won 2 last year.

Meanwhile, PJ Fleck has Minnesota scoring 31 points and a win against Auburn (who beat Bama by the way) in only three years with a QB who can throw an accurate deep ball, hit WRs in stride, and move the offense.

Why is it so damn difficult for Jim Harbaugh to field a competent QB...in YEAR FIVE!

You have to give Don Brown and the defense credit for today. Yes they’ve given up multiple big plays, but on the whole, they came to play and mostly held their own against one of the best teams in the country.

This shit show is brought to you entirely by Shea Patterson and whoever the fuck the QB coach is on this team utterly failing in their respective responsibilities.

I missed the game.  Who filled in at OC for Minny?  Interim or perm?  Didn't the OC already take off for his new gig?  I guess google is my friend, I'll look there next.  Answers forthcoming....

Ah, the interim OC is Matt Simon, a young in-house turk who probably just made a pretty good case for becoming the perm. OC.  Almost 500 yds of total offense...  against Auburn!   And some pretty ballsy 4th down go-fer-it calls.  I'll have to catch the game on replay.

Minnesota should have played Alabama and we should have played Auburn. Those were the correct bowl matchups which were of course botched, as usual (see: Virginia in a NY6 game, us playing Florida again last year).

The only reason it was reversed is because Alabama vs Michigan brings a built in audience. Not so sure we don’t beat Auburn and I am pretty certain Minnesota does not beat Alabama. Alabama is better than Auburn.

Michigan has been 2-2 vs both Wisconsin and Penn State recently. We basically just murder each other at home

And don't throw out the Rose Bowl argument. You and I both know it's because Wisconsin is in the Big Ten West. Michigan would look a lot more impressive if we got to play that schedule too

Harbaugh is 2-0 against Minnesota, 3-2 against Penn State, and 2-2 against Wisconsin. I realize the board is mostly negativity today but this statement is inaccurate.

Michigan went 8-1 in the Big Ten last year and was a better QB performance against Notre Dame from going into OSU undefeated (the teams you named all finished with more Big Ten losses this season than we did last)

Minnesota’s schedule was a joke and they still lost to Wisconsin for the 15 time in 16 tries. We took a step back this season (as many predicted due to the defensive losses) but will likely be better next year, frankly, because Shea really held us back.

We played 5 top 10 quality teams (ND, Wisconsin, OSU, PSU, and Bama). We won one of two we played at home. Not beating OSU is extremely annoying but losing to top 10 teams on the road happens to most teams, even really good ones.

So Auburn beat Alabama. Meaning Auburn is better than Alabama. And while Michigan lost by 19 to Alabama, Minnesota was able to beat Auburn. Michigan is like the 5th best team in the B1G right now. Pathetic, especially given how much Harbaugh is making.

Jury is still out on Fleck.  Great recruiter but hasn't put together a full season yet.  Surprising wins against PSU and Auburn but choked away the B1G West losing to Iowa and Wiscy in consecutive weeks to end league play and piss away a B1G Championship berth.  Next year will tell a more complete story but even then they escape PSU and OSU on the schedule.  Just imagine how much easier it would be for us if we could do the same.
