Is a Miles/Pelini Reunion more likely now ?

Submitted by Magga Saraivah on

If we miss out on Jim Harbaugh, seems like a perfect storm brewing for the consolation prize.  This would not be a bad combo.  Miles can eat grass and Pelini can bring his cat.

I am just worried he might also bring Cam Cameron as OC..

Miles brings in Pelini, and convinces RichRod to come back to Michigan as OC to redeem himself. They become known as "The Big 3" of college football.

Borges and Heiko would be the greatest equipment managing duo this town has ever seen. They would be known as "The Big Two" in equipment managing circles worldwide.  They would take the equipment by storm, managing it in ways previously thought impossible until they finally returned this school to its former glory.  Years down the road our grandkids would be telling their grandkids about "The Big Two" and what they meant to this program, to this university, and to the great state of Michigan.

No, not likely. Pelini will end up as an analyst or HC. If Michigan was going to hire Miles they would have done it years ago...too much bad blood.

Anybody think this might be about Les? Farfetched, I now, but it crossed my mind.

Hackett: "This place does not need to cut corners to win. You want to be the best in the world without any shenanigans."

Yes, Miles said he could never say "NO" to Michigan. Miles may be the guy and I wouldn't be upset about that at all! Don't be surprised at all if he's the guy, some pretty compelling information is out there that he's strongly considering the move, that's all I can say.

I'm on the horn right now with this guy who knows this guy who dated this lady who's the daughter of a man who breeds cats in Nebraska and a woman whose father-in-law specializes in the raising and rolling of Cajun-flavored sod. I'll be back with an answer directly...

When Hackett stressed morals and values were as important as win repeatedly in the presser I took that to mean Miles would not be considered. Too much baggage. I'm actually pro-Miles but I don't see it now.

Interesting that during the Big Ten coverage that Frank Beckmann kinda pushed John Harbaugh.

And also claimed he has heard that John would be very interested.
