Plus, Wyoming head coach Allen Edwards played for Frank Martin back in high school, and Edward's brother is a member of South Carolina's basketball staff. He's probably more familiar with Martin's game than most nonconference opponents.
Great read minus the ending. And, regarding the Gold Pants, perhaps Michigan football players should receive platinum pants, lapel pins, or something for wins against Ohio State.
Things seem to go sour quickly once the head coach starts yelling at people in the stands after games, so I'm not really shocked, but I am surprised USC would consider Franklin.
I think Ohio State will win, but both teams suffer for months from the exertion of eight overtimes, hopefully. Then again, with it being a White Out night game in PA, I wouldn't be shocked if PSU puts up an Iowa-like 55-24 beating on the Buckeyes.
Fitzgerald must value continuity and stability a lot. After years (8, I think) of the same Northwestern football coordinators and position coaches, the longest streak of unchanged staff in the country, I'll believe NU fires the OC when it happens.
Not often, but he cheers for the basketball team on Twitter. I think it would be nice if he attended a game at Crisler; Brent "Air Georgia" Petway, too.
My grandmother, Lucy, was an amazing mezzo-soprano and she loved Aretha Franklin. Because she listened to her albums so often, our entire family couldn't help but like Aretha, too. And my mom captivatingly sang "Mary Don't You Weep" at church the day after granny's funeral.
Anyway, the Bentley Historical Library has a lot of interesting C.L. Franklin papers, letters from Aretha and MLK, pictures, etc.
Unfortunately, I remember acting like a brat. I spent the summer in California at my aunt's, and I returned to Michigan a few days before the blackout. I probably complained nonstop, missed my cousins.
I hate the rare occasion when a storm knocks the power out so I would be miserable during a lengthy power outage.
The crazy woman narrative is upsetting. In fact, I think Courtney wasn't acting crazy enough if Zach thought it was a good idea to bring a woman (Urban's secretary?) home on his anniversary. And pregnant Courtney drove the woman home! If she's crazy now, her breakdown likely started that night.
Perhaps, but Urban lied on B1G Media Day and he's blaming Gene Smith in this BS statement. If Gene is fired, some parents and recruits might view this as the old blame the black guy trick, especially since Urban should've fired Zach at Florida, and Meyer shouldn't need a lot of prep to be truthful.
The shoe fits, and it is extremely difficult to have considerate discussions with people who support the current clown show. It's careless to deny the obvious, as well.
Throughout American history, there are several examples of resentment, increased racism, and Supreme Court rulings in favor of unjust laws following African American progress. I believe it's no coincidence an unqualified birther, who "both sides" a neo-Nazi killing a woman, was elected after the first African American president.
Anyway, interesting podcast. I wish Abdul would've elaborated on Flint; tackled the awful road conditions; shared his thoughts on appointing dictator-like emergency managers; and discussed state officials who deny science and ignore EPA warnings. Sadly, it's hard for me to imagine Abdul garnering enough support from Michigan voters during the current toxic political climate.
Bluey, in particular, doesn't bother me, but there are more negative Michigan fans online than I would have ever imagined. They're all over social media posting recklessly; combined with Ohio State and Sparty trolls, not to mention the Rutgers and Purdues of the world (even random opponents seem to want a rivalry with M), it can all start to feel like a bit much.
I also seriously doubt Michigan could land better head coaches, so I hope we can tone it down next season and win.
Overall, I like the redesign, but it initially felt like the blog was wearing uniformz. I think it's similar to other sites I visit, though, minus the Comments section. With a few bug fixes and improvements, I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Nice! I favor the desktop version with the packed Crisler crowd.

Wow! So much for that news conference last week when Urban said he planned on coaching Ohio State next season.
I'd rather play Florida again at Athens Academy and not be associated with this Chick-fil-A Bowl stuff.
Understandable. Good luck to him in the NFL. And I hope Rashan enjoyed his time at Michigan despite the tough losses.
UNC beating UCLA 94-78 made me a little nervous about Wednesday.

Anyway, good luck to Hoke.
Sparty and Ohio State look awful, but I'm still nervous about The Game being on the road.
Great news! I hate that the players and parents have to deal with fans online shitposting and speculating, though.
At least I'm spared from hearing about Franklin's multiple wins against Ohio State.

"HOW IS MICK MCCALL STILL EMPLOYED?"

I forgot Syracuse beat #2 Clemson, and it was only Dino's second year.
The incident happened in 2009. Hoke wasn't hired until 2011.

I guess Shamrock Series uniformz can't get any worse than...
Sad day, and rainy in Michigan.

He'll probably gain another 5 pounds devouring paella in Spain.

Well, this is unexpected news. I'm glad his surgery went well, and I hope he's feeling better soon.
I wonder who will be the acting head coach for the Spain trip.

Funny! Fellow alum David Alan Grier in the replies.

This guy sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I dunno, Kyle Whittingham.
Grêle! aux vainqueurs français vaillants
Grêle! aux héros conquérants
Nice to hear the guys are doing well in Summer League. And way to go, Duncan. Show 'em what you got!
Oh no, not you too, Turgeon!
Very cool. Now I have to get a GR3 jersey.
Everyone hates getting hit with them, but Maize Outs need the pom poms.

This warms my heart.

Beilein don't need no stinkin' badges or Big Macs!
Awww, so cool. I wish him well in LA (but Great Lakes > Lakers).
Nice! Since I prefer the blue basketball and softball uniforms, I'd like to see Nike's take on all-blue uniforms for the football team.

I'm nervous about the O-Line. I'd probably feel more confident about Shea's Michigan debut if this were home game.
Wow! It looks great.
Ben should walk-on. Les can pay.
I hope he comes back. I love watching him play.
I noticed "The Team, The Team, The Team" on the wall.
