If the Citrus Bowl thinks M fans will show like a few years ago, then they made a huge mistake. Going to Florida again to get waxed by Alabama is not fun. Gonna be another long offseason although getting used to it by now.

It’s going to be a gigantic challenge. So fucking what? How will a win or a loss affect your personal life? Probably not at all.
Maybe it’ll be an entertaining surprise, maybe it’ll be a blowout, maybe it’ll be a lot of things, but we don’t know what it’ll be until they play.
Put it in perspective: It’s a game, not a struggle for existence. Nothing bad happens to you if we lose.
I’m rooting for our guys. I hope they have a chance. If not, they learn stuff they need to learn.

Brother, we’re realistic at this point. We see Michigan playing a team that is better and know FROM EXPERIENCE we have absolutely no shot at winning. None. The first time Michigan beats a team that is clearly better — or even not that clearly — it will be the first.

Citrus Bowl can pick whoever they want, rankings don’t matter. And they had first pick. They thought Mich-Bama was the best matchup in terms of ratings and tickets sales.

It might just be me but I believe this could be a good match up. I believe this team will have a lot to play for assuming players in significant numbers don’t leave. Besides, I’d rather be given the opportunity to have this team prove themselves against the historically elite than sleepwalk through some mid-tier squad like USC.

If a player, coach or fan can't get pumped for this game then we suck. Will we win ? Huge challenge but that should be what football is all about for a great program. Playing shit games just to get an easy win sucks. Roll the Tide ... Go Blue !!!
Edit - in 1988 I watched Michigan beat Alabama in a Birmingham bar. Thank God my flank was guarderd by my buddy (6-4, 250 lb TE while at Vandy).
