Michigan Oregon basketball game thread
I suspect some of us will need score updates while watching Georgia Alabama football?

Jesus. Tray Jackson had an open three and just dribbles into white jerseys and turns it over.

The game in a nutshell there — Oregon uses 30 seconds of the shot clock to get off a low-percentage, but not awful shot that goes in. Michigan uses 27 seconds of the shot clock to turn the ball over and then commit a loose-ball foul. 71-67 Oregon with 2 1/2 left now.

Thank God for Dug otherwise this team would be horrible

Duggie goes full Steph Curry and hits the 28-footer off the dribble, giving Michigan a 72-71 lead with 46 seconds left. Timeout, Oregon ball.

It is Dug and nobody at this point, thank God for Dug tonight
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:27 PM ^
Damn Dug
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:28 PM ^
Dug is incredible.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:28 PM ^
Oregon with a foul to give, which could come into play down the stretch. Michigan does not — next Michigan foul is a one-and-one for Oregon.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:28 PM ^
Best defensive possession of the night there.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:29 PM ^
Dug is amazing and has been great this year...but he needs help,,,
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:29 PM ^
Oregon misses two close-in looks to take the lead, then used their last foul to give. 31 seconds left, Michigan ball, 20 on the shot clock. Correction: 30 on the shot clock

Forgot how much I hate Dana Altman...
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:32 PM ^
Damnit Nkamhoua
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:32 PM ^
Of course he misses FTs. JFC. Dug plays all world and this team still trying to lose with 3 Oregon players out
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:32 PM ^
Olivier misses the front end — now Oregon ball, 22 seconds left, Michigan still up 72-71.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:33 PM ^
God. Get your head in the game. Bad ft brick on the front end and now Oregon has a chance to win it
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:33 PM ^
Michigan out of timeouts. Oregon has one timeout left.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:33 PM ^
Assistant Coach Howard giving his pep talk.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:33 PM ^
Nkamhoua hasn't hit shit all night.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:33 PM ^
Make your free throws, damn.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:33 PM ^
Thank god
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:33 PM ^
Now Kamwah needs to make good.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:34 PM ^
Gotta hit these freebies now Olly
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:34 PM ^
LOL Nkamhoua can't decide if he wants to win or lose
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:34 PM ^
Another missed free throw leaves the door open
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:35 PM ^
Could've sealed this game how many times? Taking the script from any game of your choice from last year
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:35 PM ^
End of game basketball is just completely unwatchable
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:35 PM ^
Oregon has traveled on their last 2 possessions. Wtf.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:37 PM ^
Traveling is like holding in football — ignored 90% of the time it happens for reasons known only to officials.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:35 PM ^
Great defense by Olivier there to steal the inbounds pass as the guy guarding the inbounder. Follows it up by making one of two, 73-71 Michigan. Oregon drove and got a foul call, now going to the line to tie. 15 seconds left.
BLOCK OUT ON THE FOUL SHOT kthx
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:35 PM ^
This team without Dug is absolutely awful.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:35 PM ^
Damnit
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:36 PM ^
Hoo, boy... 65% from the stripe as a team. Woof. Let's how they can overcome that.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:36 PM ^
I have a vision of this going to TWill
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:36 PM ^
Oregon calls a gentlemanly timeout to give Michigan a chance to draw up an end-of-game possession. 73-73, 15 seconds left, gotta get it inbounds and across the time line safely.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:37 PM ^
Let's see if Michigan is just "unlucky" again.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:37 PM ^
Why is Dug so far away from the ball when we are inbounding?
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:37 PM ^
Unbelievable. 15 seconds and we turn it over. Pathetic in late game situations no matter what
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:37 PM ^
This is a very frustrating team to watch.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:38 PM ^
Video replay… I think that may have been off of Dug. :(
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:38 PM ^
Now we turn it over and we’ll lose at the buzzer
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:38 PM ^
How can you reverse this call? There's no way you can clearly say that's off Dug from that angle.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:39 PM ^
The more I look at it, the less conclusive it looks. So, you’d think it should be “call stands,” but this isn’t my first college basketball game…
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:39 PM ^
Because Michigan doesn't deserve it. Stupid play. Utterly confused
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:39 PM ^
They do it to us in Hockey all of the time.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:38 PM ^
The Juwan Howard era is so frustrating. Absolutely no in game adjustments
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:39 PM ^
They can't hit FTs. Juwan can't do anything about that during the game.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:39 PM ^
Need to draw up a play for TWill here
