Combo guard! Combines some elements of point guard and shooting guard.

Yeah, I admit I had to look that up. I was thinking some combination of center/guard for football but one look at his profile picture tells you he is not an offensive line prospect. (That, and Gonzaga is recruiting him.)

Gonna be hard to beat out Hoiberg and Nebraska for his commitment.   Nebraska has sweet hi-tech monitors in their locker room toilets.   Nothing beats streaming YouTube while pooping.  It's what 18 years olds crave.

BTW, I miss Tim Miles.

While I, in general, do not believe clips to be very definitive his show the rating services over-valuing him. There is a clip of him playing against the 2021 Wisconsin PG commit, Chucky Hepburn, who is a 3*** but outplays Sallis in every way. Michigan has CG Bufkin. Sallis is not a PG-he's a 2...or a 3 if you want to go small.. Michigan needs a Collins or Whitt at point.

I tend to agree from watching a little bit. I don't see him having the handle or passing ability to be a point guard at the college level. He does have a nice looking shot and is pretty athletic. The weight thing is a concern (he's only 165 lb at 6' 3"). It would be interesting to see how he would fit next to Bufkin.

Agreed, he definitely seems more like SG. It'll be interesting to see what Juwan does with this class. We need a a PG and C in this class then has a few spots to play with. And I'm not sure if this would happen, but I wonder if he would not take a PG in this class if there's no one he likes enough and run with a few combo guard/wing types and wait for Dug McDaniel in 2022 or get a grad transfer
