The UM band had posted the same thing the last two years, and they ended up doing the pep rally both years anyway. My recommendation is go early and get seats for the Iowa rally and hang around because the UM band and fog team and cheerleaders will all show up and do their thing again this year as well.

That place is still around?
Was there at closing, 3AM, the weekend of the first Brickyard. Lots of talent around there at the time. Started the evening at St. Elmo's. Good times.

The MMB schedule for the trip shows a "team pep rally" at 6:00 on Saturday. Looks like it's in the ICC, D-E. At least a fanfare band and spirit squad will be there.

When I went two years ago, they didn't have a Michigan pep rally for some reason. They did however do the Michigan Marching Band stuff at the convention center.

That has been true the last 2 years that they did not have a pep rally, but they did have the band and cheerleaders performing in the Fanfest at the convention center. The Big Ten website says that the East division band will perform at 5:15 pm. This was fun to attend, but it does not leave a lot of time if you want to stop somewhere else to eat before the game. Even fast food restaurants were pretty crowded.

They had a gameday schedule up yesterday, beginning with their practice in the a.m. at an Indy HS. Now it looks like it's been scrubbed from the site/404 not found. Weird.

Per these links, the MMB will be at the Fan Fest at 5:15 to perform at the ICC. It even says "full MMB" on the MMB link. Whew.
