Michigan football announces 2023 team trip in the United States.

Nice to see that Michigan is back on the educational trail again, with their student athletes.

How nice it is to see that they will be going through THE state of Ohio at THE right time, and seeing very attractive interests in Ohio, including recruits.

From the link below:

"...U-M will visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton; the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland; the National Mall and Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C.; and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, among other destinations."

So who is coordinating the trolling of this board by consistently posting days old articles?  I commend you on the commitment.

Anyone who spends 30 seconds on this board knows Michigan news will be posted immediately.  Master troll job!!

Are they stopping in Tampa in a few weeks for a few hockey games?

Are they stopping in Delaware?

Why not Columbus Ohio, I know it’s out of the way, but a quick tour around the campus wearing Big Ten Championship shirts would make for some great pictures!

Thank you for posting this, I didn't see it the first time around, nor the article you linked. Sounds like a well-rounded trip that includes both fun and educational opportunities. I've been to the National Mall and the Holocaust Museum, which is astonishingly moving. I'd love to hit the other places, too.

The SEC err the NCAA just announced no field trips south of the Mason Dixon line. It would be an unfair advantage or a fair disadvantage they havent figured out which one yet.

Don't forget they'll stop at the horse shoe to reflect on the complete beat down they delivered on the buck nuts. Oh, they'll also leave a Michigan poop cooler as a reminder of what they truly are.

Love everything about all these trips. Love the USA tour as well. Teaching these kids so much more than football... While also playing the game at the highest level.

Hey jadyn, come be part of something special

I managed to visit Gettysburg around 8 years in a row when my kids were in Scouts.  We hiked the Gettysburg Heritage Trails Program each year.

What was always a solemn moment was standing at The Angle and imagining the slaughter of the troops on both sides that day.  Horrific.

All places listed are great. But I always find it sad that these teams have plenty of kids and teammates who come from vulnerable African-American communities and yet these trips or other like benefits through many different educational or community programs around our country often prioritize things like The Holocaust Museum over other opportunities like the The National Museum of African American History.

Totally down with the importance of learning about and understanding the Holocaust - as much as can be.

Totally not down with the seeming lack of importance or priority shown to educate many kids who will be taking the trip about their own family, community and personal history.  It's a big miss in my book. Pretty close to shameful. And a huge loss for so many with a more ambiguous heritage and those teammates looking to understand their fellow teammate's challenges with their identity.

I'm sure UM will take the team there in the end. So this message does not simply apply to just this trip.

Why just pick on the Holocaust Museum? You could easily say the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame is a waste of time because it's filled with old musicians that none of these young players will even know or relate to.  It seems like a large part of 20th century history is beneficial to all Americans whether they're of Jewish descent or not. It benefitted all of us to learn about Tulsa and some of the other horrific things that have happened to Black people in this country, aside from slavery. Black history is American history. Jewish history as it pertains to World War 2 is also American history. And I would bet there are players who know very little about the Holocaust.
