Definitely not the team we expected coming into the season, scoring with ease with defense being somewhat leaky. I think individually there are some good defenders though so hopefully just need to gel there as the season goes along.

If Michigan will take care of the ball, use their organized plays and rebound they will win this one. St Johns is nothing but a helter skelter team. They live off turnovers and rebounds for extra shots.

St Johns has to be incredibly frustrated right now. Michigan is getting offensive reboards, making clutch threes, and playing aggressively on defense. First time in a while I've seen that style of play from this team.

The defense and rebounding need a ton of work, but hopefully some of that is not being used to each other in game situations. Very fun to watch with a ton of positives, but also occasionally laughably frustrating.

Anyone heard or read anything about Jaelin Llewellyn’s timeframe for return is? I guess I was out of the loop on hoops and just assumed he was going to be ready to start the season.

St Johns is staying in the game thanks to ORebs and second chance points...11 ORebs that led to 17 second chance points....clean that up and we should be ok

I had weird tv problems (black shading across top 6-8 inches (that is what she said)) and missed the 1st half Googling and unplugging, plugging back in etc

Just reading these comments I would have thought we are getting our ass kicked

Aside from the fellatio being performed on Rick Pitino and hiow annoying his teams are (they've always gotten away with bumping and muggings) IMO.

I thought we've looked pretty good despite some early unlucky bounces, this team is fun to watch.

What a difference from the past 2 seasons.

This reminds me a bit of 2017-18 where we really were worried about losing the likes of Irvin and Walton, and we came out suddenly playing stifling D and with a chip on our shoulder. Early returns are looking good!
