well, that took a bit of time for Michigan to warm up...
but, they are looking pretty good now...Defense has picked up and going into the paint with HD has helped turn the tide

They needed defense and some inside presence to get back in the game since outside shots weren’t falling.
One thing I think this team needs to work on is consistent energy from the tip. So far in Juwan’s tenure it pops up as a problem from time to time.

This happened a lot - these flat stretches - during the Beilein era. It doesn't seem to be as much of an issue with Juwan's recruits (and transfers under his tenure).

Terrance Williams was a nice target by Juwan. He’s got that savvy old man game and is a guy that’s probably gonna be around all 4 years.

Im hoping Howard doesn't go back to Davis to start the half. With some effort, we could pull away in this one. Id rather Dickinson play and then bring in Johns to let him rest a few.

This is the benefit of Howard going 10 deep all year. Now when you need help off the bench, they don’t look like deer in the headlights. Playing with confidence and fire.
