MBB: Jordan Poole has been looking good playing AAU ball

Submitted by Erik_in_Dayton on

His shot is very smooth.  And he's a pretty adept ballhandler.  He's a little small for a two guard, but I'm excited to see a backcourt of him and Xavier Simpson.

I don't want to steal too many clicks from UMHoops, so please visit the site to see recent AAU clips of Poole.

Also, since I'm sure this will otherwise turn into a Beilein-bashing thread to some extent, I'll save folks the trouble:  Black Phillip sayeth he is wicked!

I found The Witch to be less your traditional horror movie and more a really creepily atmospheric colonial period piece.  Great use of sound, lighting, and pacing to build a creepy environment, but fairly light on legitimate scares.  The ending totally surprised me though, which is a very hard thing to do.  I highly recommend.

if so, i don't think that is small for a 2 guard.  we just have been spoiled with the likes of levert and hardaway for the past 6 years.  that said, he could add a few pounds; like most guys his age.

Poole is the epitome of what Beilein needs in his offense. Great shooter with a quick release, who is also a smooth athlete and can handle the ball well. Poole isn't going to wow you with the athleticism that seems to have become the norm with top prospects now days, but he's a skilled player. Little old man in his game. His pull up jumper will be extremely beneficial at the college level
