M Baseball takes series against Ohio State
As Meatloaf famously said, 2 out of 3 ain't bad, especially when it means beating the Buckeyes. Go Blue!
I went to the game on Friday, and it was a blast.
Michigan now tied for second in the Big Ten with Purdue and Nebraska, 1.5 games behind first-place Illinois.
Next weekend, Michigan has a bye in conference play and hosts a non-conference series against the Long Beach State Dirtbags (they take weird pride in that unofficial nickname). Games at 6:00 Friday, 2:00 Saturday, 1:00 Sunday. LBSU is about 20-15 right now, and this series will be winnable.
No way we lose to the "Dirtbags."
My son's team played a team called the Dirtbags in travel ball. There's also the Rocket City Trash Pandas (slang for raccoons). I think a dirtbag is probably just a dirtbag.
I've met more than my share of dirtbags.
Mountain climbers used to affectionately refer to their lifestyle as "dirtbags". Not sure if they still do
