i think timmaay is right.  JJ is a different cat in a really, really good way.  he doesn't need the money of the NFL the way many would and he loves his team and school.  and donovan, well, unless he has some tremendous pro-day numbers has not shown that he'd be a day one draft pick.  if he gets NIL $ in the interim and simultaneously steps out from corum's shadow, those two things could combine to keep him at U of M also.

I think McCarthy comes back unless he gets a 1st round grade - which I don't quite see him getting. I think one more year and he could challenge for a top 10 pick.

Edwards I am less optimistic on returning. While it would be great to get him back and further work him into a RB/WR hybrid role, I could also see him transferring or declaring for the draft and getting picked up in the 4th+ round.

I suspect he will come back. Everything I’ve been reading says there will be 4 to 5 maybe even 6 QBs who would go before JJ in this draft. There are only so many QB reps to go around in competitive football; he may be better off returning to be UM’s guy as opposed to sitting the bench in the NFL at first.

Whoa, I was thinking Elko had a much longer track record than he does.  He's only been at Duke two years?  I don't know if this makes sense for either side.
