Still believe the Lions should have picked up Kaep

I think he was a product of Chip Kelly's system last year. You saw what he did without Jim as HC in 2015.

So he was good under Harbaugh and Kelly, but bad under Tomsula, and that means he's a bad QB?
He may not work under a traditional NFL offense, but creative OCs can certainly design an offense around him and be successful.

He was decent last year in SF despite coming back from rehabing and injury and not starting until partway through the season. He was at least league average in most categories and above average in several. He should at least be a backup QB or have offers for back up spots.

but I have a feeling if Stafford played a few years with the coaching staff in San Francisco and all the talent there, he would have a few playoff victories by now.

If someone told me that they'd rather sign Kap for a bargain bin contract than give Stafford a massive deal, so they have money to allocate elsewhere, I wouldn't argue too much with it. I do have an issue with saying Kap is better, due to his playoff wins.

I don't understand why Brady is still out there. Up 21-0 and after losing edleman to a non-contact injury

Just an update, but Dr. David Chao who is pretty good at predicting injuries via Twitter said it looks like a potential ACL injury.

Could it be both? Found an article from 2015 ,where he had a 92.6% accuracy rate when he tweeted about injuries during the 2014 NFL season. I was unable to find any recent stats for the 2015/2016 seasons

Sorry, this is my Grammar Nazi coming out, but predicting injury would be saying, "this player is going to get injured on the next play." Diagnosing with little evidence is saying, "wow, that last play looked really bad; I'm guessing it's a torn ACL."
Not that it really matters...

The Lions are a joke. Always have been, always will be as long as they are under Ford family ownership.

The Patriots called off their joint practice walkthrough with the Lions scheduled for Thursday. I guess the Lions decided to go ahead with the walkthrough during the game tonight.
