I had the privilege of running into him a couple years ago. He still seemed to be mourning the loss of Chad. In talking about his M career he modestly stated he was simply in the right place at the right time. I have always been very impressed with him as a man. He will have the strength to get through this, but yeah, keep him in your prayers (or give him your respect if you aren't the praying type).

Way too young! The same age my Father died at from a heart attack, not cancer.  My condolences to the Carr family. I was thinking of working until 64 but I may retire in 2 years at age 60. Since you never know when its your time.

This is such disappointing and distressing news.  There is so much grieving in the world today and it is a shame that her death adds to that grief.  I absolutely add my unending sympathy and prayers to Coach Carr and his family.  My wife died a couple of years ago and the world changed forever for everyone in my family and her many friends. I highly recommend a book, "Healing after Loss," to anyone in the same situation.

Thoughts and prayers to Coach Carr and his family. That man has been through a lot since dealing with Chad's tragic passing and now his wife. My heart goes out to them.
