Sometimes Milroe looks like a world beater. And then there are times like that sack. YOu can't just stand there!
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:19 PM ^
Is it game time yet ? I need to see that winged helmet NOWWWWW
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:21 PM ^
Both these teams are beatable.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:24 PM ^
We thought TCU was beatable last year. Have to play full out offense to win playoffs
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:26 PM ^
TCU was beatable. M just played poorly. Different deal than facing a team that is just better and will beat you no matter how you play (like Georgia 2021).
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:28 PM ^
I get 2021 Georgia..no way we were going to win that one (or any other team)
But just cant go into a playoff game and play conservative..we were getting our ass kicked until we opened it up and made it reasonable
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:38 PM ^
And they were easily beatable. What does that have to do with my statement?
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:21 PM ^
This is a good game, but that Pac game last night was a lot more fun.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:45 PM ^
I know I’m in the minority, but I prefer these type of games over shoot outs. I’m a fan of defense, and I enjoy it when every point really means something.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:23 PM ^
I have not watched much Alabama this year, is Milroe supposed to be an elite QB? He looks pretty average.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:26 PM ^
Elite athlete and runner yes. But as a QB very mediocre besides throwing a good deep ball.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:23 PM ^
Interesting decision on 4th & 5 here. I think I would punt if I was Saban.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:25 PM ^

December 2nd, 2023 at 5:26 PM ^
Ugh... Commercial. No play. Commercial.
How does anyone in TV or football's executive offices fins this watchable? How does the Committee watch this and not complain?
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:29 PM ^
Wait... you mean to tell me that you tune in to actually watch the game?
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:27 PM ^
IS it me, or did UGA's DL just not seem to try hard on that play?
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:29 PM ^
They’re probably playing the QB scramble and trying to keep contain
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:28 PM ^
Well, lookie here
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:28 PM ^
Georgia is in deep doo doo
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:28 PM ^
Georgia in trouble.

Knock, knock
Who’s there?
Chaos
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:28 PM ^
Wow! 17 straight points from the Tide.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:28 PM ^
LOLz.
IF Bama wins, committee will be fucked.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:28 PM ^
Roll tide
Go blue

December 2nd, 2023 at 5:36 PM ^

December 2nd, 2023 at 5:29 PM ^
Train whistle. UGA needs to derail the Tide train. ESPN already lobbying for two SEC teams in the CFP.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:31 PM ^
Danielson will be insufferable by the fourth quarter.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:31 PM ^
ESPN and Danielson can lobby all they fucking want. If FSU wins tonight there will be zero SEC teams in all likelihood. You will have three undefeated conference champs and a team that beat Bama on their own field.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:35 PM ^
Yes, this is the totally rational take and I agree. I am a worry wart. I've have seen what the CFP has done in the past. College football, go figure.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:41 PM ^
In the past the committee hasn't had it as clear cut assuming FSU wins. I mean three undefeated teams and one conference champ who beat the other conferences champion. That would be the most straightforward playoff there has been I believe.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:48 PM ^
If Alabama wins tonight, they’re getting in the playoff. The committee is not keeping out a one-loss SEC champion. The question is whether or not Georgia gets put in over Texas or FSU (should they win).
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:29 PM ^
I regret to inform you America - I take no pleasure in doing this - but it may be the case that the SEC is no good this year.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:35 PM ^
Happen to also think SEC is a bit overrated and has been all year.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:38 PM ^
They were pedestrian at best against P5 non-conference teams.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:32 PM ^
I really don’t know what to think about this.
Georgia and Bama don’t look great, but then they’re playing each other. They probably didn’t think we looked great against OSU either.
Just win everything we play, I guess.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:33 PM ^
Georgia made a lot of mistakes and Bama took advantage. Honestly this year with the poise Michigan plays with they could beat either team imho.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:33 PM ^
If Bama wins, and Michigan, they should do
1. UM
2. Bama
3. Washington
4. Texas
Honestly, who cares if lousy FSU gets dropped?
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:34 PM ^
Louisville is going to defeat Florida State
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:34 PM ^
An undefeated conference champion is not getting dropped period. Injury or not you can't have a team in a major conference win all their games and not get in. And people are really overrating a Louisville team with two losses to non ranked teams and whose best win is against a bleh ND acting like they are favorites regardless of who plays QB for FSU. They could but would still have FSU as slight favorites.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:37 PM ^
It's the "deserving" vs "best" debate, and FSU's QB situation brings that right to the front.
Of course, if they're as bad as we think they are, they will probably lose to Louisville, and then it's a non-issue.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:38 PM ^
Well that is my second point people are really overrating Louisville, two bad losses and best win against a bleh ND. They are not very good and FSU does have talent besides Travis.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:50 PM ^
I remember a time when Michigan was left out because of an injured QB. The end result changed football, changed the Big Ten, in ways that were enduring and beneficial. Could such a change happen again? Sure, but probably not.
I don't care about best vs deserving. If FSU wins, they will have proven to be one of the best four of the Power 5 conferences by winning their conference and remaining undefeated. Ergo, as one of the 4 bet, they would deserve to be in the playoff.
If Bama or Texas don't like that, they shouldn't have lost a game.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:35 PM ^
I agree but that's not how the playoff works. Bama, UM and FSU wins means no SEC teams in the playoff.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:39 PM ^
It should, but I don't trust the committee.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:37 PM ^
FSU played one of the toughest schedules in the country and if they win tonight will be an undefeated conference champion. Who cares if some SEC team that didn’t even win all its games (some of which were against Chattanooga State) gets dropped?
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:35 PM ^
BTW Georgia has to be left out if they lose. If they lose, their best win is against Missouri at home, and then some other very flawed SEC teams. Georgia's resume would be worse than both Ohio State and Texas.
Bame wouldn't get left out, but the real question would be Florida State if they beat Louisville. I honestly think that FSU might get left out in favor of both Texas and Bama in that scenario.
...And then, who do we play as the 1 seed? Not thrilled by any of that, but that's football.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:49 PM ^
Isn't UGA's win over Ole Miss their biggest win? Missouri is ranked higher than Ole Miss, but barely, and both have the same record. UGA beat Missouri in a close game and beat Ole Miss by 35. Ole Miss also beat LSU, to whom Missouri lost.
December 2nd, 2023 at 5:37 PM ^
If Bama wins, Ohio loses. Roll
