Running backs coach Tyrone Wheatley was asked about how the freshman out of New Jersey has looked thus far, and he's been impressed with the ethic Walker has put into getting ready for his chance. "Great!" Wheatley said. "Working hard. I think he's pulling about 10 lbs. of muscle. He's looking good. He's really, really upbeat. He's ready to go."

edit - to spell Kareem correctly

Glad to hear he's got a good attitude still, it must be pretty tough to be an EE and then have to sit due to grades while literally everyone else on the depth chart gets a chance.

good to hear those dudes seem to be finding their groove.  both arrived as talented prospects and everyone wants to see them reach their potential on and off the field

That's actually what I thought for a minute. The implication being that it was hard to watch the other players taking easy ass classes play while he struggled with tough classes.

But then I don't think first semester Electrical Engineering classes are actually any different? I don't know, I transferred in junior year.

Then I realized I'm an idiot and he's an Early Enrollee.
