A great suggestion, if her schedule allows. Being in a firm setting or having the chance to head to court for simple tasks would provide some valuable experience, even if it means crossing things off of her list. Sometimes it's just as helpful to know what you do not want to do, and fortunately, there are many directions you can go to be a lawyer.
Oh where to begin? I think your definitions of "attack" and what is reasonable in defense are good starting points. We do have the right to defend ourselves. I'd hardly call this an attack and his response reasonable force.
I just don't see it the same way. She reacted to his lunge with a slap in the heat of things. It's not as if there's some long pause before she reacts to his lunge. He lunged, she slapped, he knocked her the f*ck out.
Regarding #1, you refer to it in hindsight as a "fake lunge," but how was she supposed to know that in that moment? Her reaction was instigated by his lunge at her. With the disparity in size, strength, etc., I'd say her slapping him in defense of a lunge (and who knows what follows) is not beyond reasonable. I'm not sure if it's fair to call it a fake lunge in retrospect and in the comfort of being fully removed from the situation.
Getting a good laugh imagining Hugh Freeze's reaction to that questionnaire. One glimpse and his mind would explode. Definitely too much time away from family to complete that.
Hey blu, I'm guessing this is in reference to another Ronnie?? (I've contributed all of about 5-6 comments, so hopefully that's the case. No troll here, just a coincidence I hope.)

Thanks for posting. Donation made! Spread the word. Will be interesting to see if the Big Ten matches.

Good luck, have a great run! Congrats on your first race (hopefully the first of many).
Ok, no worries. I was going to say that might be a record for pissing mgobloggers off, but I've followed long enough to know better.

Your first point was my immediate thought. It will be interesting to see if there is any connection to those recruiting battles.
