I just peeled myself off the floor, after peeling myself off the ceiling. My heart rate has returned to a level that doesn't indicate immediate explosion.

OMG

LOL

Yeah! Go Blue! Great great ending to an ugly game. Take the momentum and get out of Wichita! Jordan Poole would not be caught dead in a freaking manbun.

Was not (too) worried 'bout tonight, and ended up not being able to watch the game (running over of family plans); slightly shocked upon rushing home to discover how close it was.

Wheee-yaH!

PLUS Sweet sweet OSU-flavored schadenfreude -- the best kind.

Fuck yeah!!!

I LOVE you EVRRRYbody!

LET'S GO ALL THE WAY BABY!!!

defeat and it would have been all good. And then the will of wanting to win, needing to win, the will of athletes who won't quit until there is nothing left to give, no time or possibility, gave us Sweet 16 renewal, unambiguous reminder of the incredible mood swing that one shining moment can change a world view in less than 3.6 seconds of suspended reality.

We survived. And now we move on to the Sweet 16, all because a freshman with "swag" and great confidence hit a shot that will reverberate through Michigan basketball annals, like the shot that Trey Burke hit against Kansas, to keep the flame of hope alive and a season to continue.

Michigan was ground into dust by obdurate officiating with three guys all calling different games that effectively eliminated Moe Wagner, and then eliminated two others. The great thing about the way Michigan is now constructed, is that incredibly inconsistent officiating can't keep your team from advancing altogether.

You just gotta play through it and deal with it. Both teams gave everything, their last measure of devotion and energy, and it was madness that gave Michigan an opportunity to succeed and pursue the opportunity for another shining memory.
