“I think Mel did what he was supposed to do. He reprimanded the guys that didn’t do their job right, but there’s other people who should be reprimanded for not doing their job right.”

“I’ve got a saying here—what starts bad, ends bad. If it starts good, it wouldn’t have ended bad. That’s my stickup for Mel and our program. I get tired of Michigan State always looking like the bad guy. There’s been other bad guys.”

So more than 2 weeks later, with all the video that's allegedly complete and available to all those investigating (b/c I'm sure we haven't seen it all), this is the first we here a new "theory".  No names, no "here's the video", just allegations.  Two lone Michigan players, in the tunnel with 80+ opposing players, "started the incident."  The sheer insanity of such a claim is pretty despicable, not to mention the hyperbolic press release from LA, from a David Lee Roth wannabe, who's probably still bitter he couldn't get into UofM Law.

A counter claim for defamation against this clown will be delicious -- when he has the stones to name the so-called instigator.

I'm not usually this fired up but I'm tired of the lack of accountability and ownership.  Out of all of this, #Tucksuspendin' has been among the most stand-up, even it took a couple extra days to take action against starters.

Yes, Michigan started it. They whooped their ass on the field. Took them to the woodshed and beat them down.  Msu felt bad and retaliated in the tunnel when it was 2 on 80.

Fucking dipshits.

Did that make them feel good about themselves?  I'm really hoping for jail time. Send the message that this type of behavior will not be tolerated and has no room in college athletics.

This has been the rhetoric of their fans on Twitter throughout this whole ordeal. "Yeah we know we suck BUT WHATABOUT X!?!"

Also this idea that Mel is a "hero" because he suspended 4 guys and then had no other option but to suspend 4 starters when the next video came out is pretty fuckin' hilarious.

It's a shame those scumbags won against Illinois.

1) you always look like the bad guy because you always end up being the bad guy

2) I’ve missed all the basketball games UM and MSU played in Michigan stadium; unless he can explain why it’s ok for a group of MSU players to gang up on 1 UM player and then to use a football helmet to hit said player in the head he should do us all a favor and close his mouth.  Let the legal proceedings play out.

Who are these people that need to be reprimanded? See, these kind of deflection by a coach who has been around for a long time irritates me. Classless comment. Man is clueless and a perfect fit for that POS school.

Translation:  I am used to creating excuses and getting a free pass on bad behavior and I think it's unfair that people are being held accountable for their actions.

Izzo should run for office when he's done coaching.  He's already mastered the art of speaking two paragraphs that don't actually mean anything.

Yep....look over there..no I mean look under there....or back there...you know, there are other bad guys out there, you are just not looking in the right place.

Mel owes Tom a nice steak dinner and some cigars after that game of charades.

The sad truth is that people like this and others in the MSU media sphere are doing what seems to be happening all over..they are encouraging violence. You  blame shift for your own violence and then the bar gets raised and it escalates...and escalates..

Michigan State has become like the WWF "house-wrestler" when they show up at pre-conference neutral site double headers.  They are "John Williams" who is just there to get pummeled by Bret Hart.

Yes, let's "reprimand" people who batter someone with a potentially lethal object and the others that help or stand by and watch.  They need good talking to.

Tom Izzo is a pathetic tiny man.
