It's Hate Week!
The Game is less than five days away. Let's talk about all the reasons we hate that team down south and why the world would be a better place if Ohio simply ceased to exist.
November 25th, 2019 at 1:06 PM ^
I mean, bad weather pretty much always favors the less talented team, and unfortunately that's definitely us. Also, we've had a lot of bad weather games this year and have game planned and coped well in all of them.
So I say bring on the wind and rain.
November 25th, 2019 at 2:36 PM ^
UM's only chance is for weather so bad the game is cancelled. Otherwise, weather favors the more talented team, and we all know which one that is.
November 25th, 2019 at 11:24 PM ^
Back to the trailer park, hick. Your 1 toothed bride is calling you.
November 25th, 2019 at 11:25 PM ^
Your 1 toothed bride is calling you.
In Ohio, that could be his sister.
November 26th, 2019 at 12:28 PM ^
Confirmed.

No, where Michigan has been improved most as of late is in throwing the ball and rain (and especially wind) make that much more iffy. I would think a run-fest would favor the bad guys.
November 25th, 2019 at 12:34 PM ^
At first I was going to say that I hate OSU because in recent years they beat us at football. But then I realized even if we beat them I would still hate them. So, the reason that I hate OSU is simply because they exist.
November 25th, 2019 at 12:35 PM ^
Kalahari.
That place sucks.
November 25th, 2019 at 12:35 PM ^
I hate that they actually DO hate us and we only seem to be mildly annoyed with them.
They treat the game with Michigan like we collectively did something horrible to each of their parents and all their loved ones.
We treat the game like they forgot to put the 12 pack of coke in the fridge when they unloaded the groceries.
November 25th, 2019 at 12:41 PM ^
"They treat the game with Michigan like we collectively did something horrible to each of their parents and all their loved ones."
You did, it's called the Cooper era. We will never forget.
November 25th, 2019 at 12:43 PM ^
Oh all of that? We were just kidding around. You guys took that seriously?
November 25th, 2019 at 12:49 PM ^
It was very hard not to. I had a friend in school that was a TUN fan. Going to school the following week was brutal...every time.
November 25th, 2019 at 12:50 PM ^
Well that's not fair. You guys punch yourselves in the face with the Cooper hire and now it's somehow OUR fault? We certainly havent blamed you guys for the RichRod & Hoke fiasco now have we?
Besides - anybody in the OSU athletic department who got tricked into hiring Cooper based on the 86 Rose Bowl win must not have been paying attention to how Bo did out there. Beating him in that game wasnt exactly the most difficult job in the world.
November 25th, 2019 at 1:55 PM ^
The hire was not well received around here. Then he brought in talent and the narrative shifted a bit. Then he squandered the talent in The Game and the narrative snapped right back. And you should blame OSU for RichRod and Hoke. More specifically you should blame Jim Tressel. Him gaining the edge in the rivalry is what spelled the untimely end for Carr, and he was a good coach.
November 25th, 2019 at 4:09 PM ^
what spelled the untimely end for Carr,
Carr sitting on his ass basking in the glory of '97 and assuming recruits would flock to Michigan because it's Michigan, is what did Carr in.
November 25th, 2019 at 5:36 PM ^
Carr's end was not untimely. Not any more than Ferentz's will be anyway.
November 25th, 2019 at 1:28 PM ^
I hate everything about them, colors, school, everything. I despise every fan who was not smart enough to get in to OSU but acts as if they attended and graduated with honors. I hate that they talk smack to all fan bases wearing their gear out and about as if they are the only team in the country. I hate the 3rd grade spelling lesson we receive when there are more than 2 of them together. Hate isn't strong enough of a word to describe my feelings for them.
November 25th, 2019 at 8:32 PM ^
For those of you who didn’t see tOSU halftime show against PSU, a top 10 opponent, the band had a marching scissor formation cut a UM flag. Not PSU, during the PSU game, a Michigan flag. It’s not hate week, it’s the 52nd week of hate.
November 26th, 2019 at 4:32 AM ^
I used to make fun of them for that kind of obsession with us . . . now I think we should focus on the rivalry like they do.
November 25th, 2019 at 11:41 PM ^
They treat the game with Michigan like we collectively did something horrible to each of their parents and all their loved ones.
It all comes down to: they hate Michigan because they know, deep down, they could win a hundred football games in a row, and Ohio State would still be the inferior university.
November 25th, 2019 at 12:42 PM ^
I hate Ohio State so much. It rankles me to my core that they have beaten us so much in recent history. I hate the feeling coming off a loss to OSU. I hate that they won't care if they lose this year. They are going to the B1G championship regardless, and they will probably win that, and will still go to the playoff.
November 25th, 2019 at 12:50 PM ^
They will care a great deal if they lose. Right now Ryan Day is the golden boy who can do no wrong. If we win on Saturday everyone will see how quickly that can change.
November 25th, 2019 at 12:56 PM ^
I guarantee 1/2 their fans will be calling for him to be fired when we beat them.
November 25th, 2019 at 4:05 PM ^
Love the optimism Hatter
November 25th, 2019 at 12:56 PM ^
They will care if they lose even if they go on to win the playoff. Day will be 0-1 against the TUN. All their clocks running from the last time they beat M reset. There will be doubt going forward.
November 25th, 2019 at 2:00 PM ^
Speaking as an alum, I can confirm that we will most definitely care. OSU could beat UM for the next 100 years and we would still care. As has been mentioned on other threads, OSU football is far and away the main sport in central Ohio, and hating "TTUN" is an integral part of that. There's no way Coach Day wants to start 0-1 in the rivalry, nor leave the playoff selection up in the air.
November 25th, 2019 at 12:52 PM ^
I hate that they’re a mid-tier school with an elite program based on SEC-type recruiting and a loathsome fan base ... and they’ve owned the rivalry the last decade plus.
November 25th, 2019 at 12:55 PM ^
FUCK EM
November 25th, 2019 at 12:55 PM ^
This is probably a weird reason to hate them but when Fields went down with an "injury" at the end of the 4th this past Saturday, and they showed some of the reactions of their fans including a co-ed literally crying, it just really made me hate them even more. Fuck them and fuck that bald headed jackass they have as a super fan. That guy is a piece of shit
November 25th, 2019 at 1:29 PM ^
I wonder if I go dressed up in a kkk robe with a big OSU block O on it if it would throw him off his game?
I dunno though, I don't think I could wear something with that school's logo on it. It offends my sensibilities.
November 25th, 2019 at 3:28 PM ^
Actually, you dumbass, that bald headed super fan raises a lot of money for charity and scholarships. Sounds like you're the true piece of shit. Have fun mourning the loss for the eighth year in a row.
November 25th, 2019 at 3:41 PM ^
Just because he gives money to your mom after he bangs her and to OSU players for letting him take a turn doesn't mean he's not the biggest turd in the punchbowl. Those things aren't mutually exclusive.
November 25th, 2019 at 3:45 PM ^
Gathering empties after a game to help someone get their trailer home towed out of a ditch is not a charity.
Neither is collecting money to pay the way for hoes in your parts to be on the Maury show and figure out who their baby daddy is.
November 25th, 2019 at 3:56 PM ^
I don't care. I've met him and he's still a lump of shit, just like 99% of your dumb fat fanbase
November 25th, 2019 at 5:01 PM ^
Gonna be hard to take an 8th loss in a row.
But then next week I get to throw your app in the reject pile cuz I'd rather hire an emu grad.
That sorta helps.
Cheers.
November 25th, 2019 at 6:06 PM ^
Sweet, are you like some hiring manager in a factory or maybe an accountant? LOL. I wear a Patek. I would never work for you, peasant.
November 25th, 2019 at 6:15 PM ^
"...I'd rather hire an emu grad."
Oh, so the McDonalds you manage is hiring?
Best of luck.
November 25th, 2019 at 4:36 PM ^
That shot just made me laugh. It definitely speaks to the insanity of a sizable chunk of their fanbase.
November 25th, 2019 at 1:04 PM ^
FUCK THIS...
Don't give them ammo!
Best reception OSU could get walking into the BigHouse, would be COMPLETE SILENCE. They're anticipating BOO's and lots of hate, I'd rather see the BigHouse turn their backs and give silence.
November 25th, 2019 at 1:07 PM ^
The roughly 35,000 OSU fans that will be there makes that pretty unlikely.
November 25th, 2019 at 1:14 PM ^
Can someone plant drugs and a gun on John O'Neill before he steps into the stadium?
November 25th, 2019 at 1:24 PM ^
Or on Justin Fields. And have Tressel's bomb-sniffing dogs ready.
November 25th, 2019 at 1:25 PM ^
Do we know the ref assignments yet for Saturday?
November 25th, 2019 at 2:32 PM ^
Coach Yoast:
You call this game fair, or I'm going to the papers. I don't care if I go down with you. But before God, I swear I'll see every last one of you thrown in jail.
You know what, I'd take Michigan slappies on the field in black and white for this. They owe us for 2016.
November 25th, 2019 at 1:27 PM ^
Skyline Chili is disgusting. Only Ohio idiots would put cinnamon in chili.
November 25th, 2019 at 2:37 PM ^
It’s nutmeg not cinnamon and skylines the shit. Skylines a Cincinnati thing and most of those folks are Kentucky or Louisville fans. You can safely walk around Cincinnati wearing Michigan gear and not get a sack of piss thrown at you by an elderly person.
November 25th, 2019 at 6:25 PM ^
Totally agree. I love chili and heard all the hype about it so I had to try it. I couldn't even get it down. I don't think they should legally be able to call it Chili. It's some weird awful tasting soup
