Genuinely can't wrap my head around the upside of one more year for Juwan. 2 years in a row missing the NCAA tournament, alienating players and staff, and the roster shows no signs of improvement.
It's not like he's a proven winner who hit a rough patch. He's a first time head coach who has regressed every single year. A bubble team might warrant another year but they're in dead last in the worst Big Ten conference I can remember in a while.
Just moved away from Bloomington and there's some pretty solid spots.
For coffee I loved Soma and Hopscotch. They're more expensive but they're really good.
Feast and Runcible Spoon are solid for like breakfast/brunch
Buffa Louies, Bub's Burgers, and Trojan Horse were my favorite spots for dinner. Trojan horse is a little more fancy.
The Tap was my favorite bar because I hated the college dive bar vibe of Kilroy's and if you have time you should check out Cardinal Spirits. It's the oldest distillery in Indiana and it's only a few years old because of the states backwards alcohol laws.
And like other people have said, prepare for 37. It's a terrible, terrible road filled with awful construction and stupid traffic. I hated it every time I drove back home to Michigan and I will continue to hate it until I die. It's that bad.
I used to work for a university hospital doing drug tests for employeers, suspected abusers, and for big ten athletes. Most companies would treat a diluted sample as a failure and make them re-take the test later. I've had people try and cheat the system by diluting it and ive also had people who were worried they wouldnt be able to go drink too much water and dilute it. It's probably worse since he knew the drug test was coming and it's definitely a bad look, but it doesn't mean he was purposefully trying to cover something up.
The small field is definitely cool. It seemed to me that they preferred artificially created tradition over a lack of one. As evidenced by the "shark chomp" that they did on third downs or whatever. I don't think there's sharks in Indiana. At least I haven't found any.
Indiana stadium was pretty disappointing for me. The architecture was cool enough but the experience was like a minor league game. Tricycle races and such. A video package with sharks. A video package with buffalo. The announcer was also super irritating. 2/10 would not go again.

Pretty sure if the game still says Off (0) under the Final column that means it's straight up aka a freebie.
I'm ready to incorrectly pick every game again.
FUCK EM
The I Think You Should Leave reference is incredible.
