Would take him but it seems like 95% of SEC portal transfers are SEC—>SEC.

I'm wondering if we can steal Courtney Morgan back from Deboer if he goes to Alabama. . .

Bama is in for some struggles no matter who they get. Who can follow Saban? Only one guy. Urban. We hate him and that's fine but nobody else can step in and keep it rolling.

They're going to take a step back

I have to believe Urban is done, and even if he's not, whatever school picks him up probably only has him for five years, max, before he flames out. That's not to say his program won't be wildly successful in that span of time. He may even win a title in that time. But that is a short-term "deal with the devil" that university will make.

Well, even before Clemons left I felt like we need help at wide receiver, and a bigger guy with experience would be really nice. The Indiana kid would have been perfect but he's going back to the Hoosiers. It's a tough sell because there are not a lot of balls to go around.

Do portal transfers sign a "letter of intent" at their new school?  If so, when?

I ask because if Harbaugh and JJ were to come back, would we still have a shot at some of the transfer WRs we missed out on recently?

If we have a now stable and appealing situation here at Michigan, are there any compelling guys left to come here?

At least WR seems like the kind of position where a veteran guy can plug-in at fall camp and be fine. With a QB, you probably need the guy to go through spring ball or he could take half the season to really get going.

Bond is from Georgia and only seems interested in southern schools.  His media session at the Rose Bowl also stood out to me as being the only player for either side that came off as a me-first type.  He's a good player, but I doubt he comes to Michigan or that he'd be a great fit here.  Michigan could also use a WR bigger than 5'11" that will probably garner some serious NIL on the open market.

He talked a little too much shit for my liking. He was part of the reason I thought we'd win, because too many guys were like him...overconfident.

Besides, he'll go somewhere where they throw the ball a lot.

I could see him at OSU to be honest. They lost Harrison and Fleming.
