Iowa @ Maryland on FS1 at 8pm tonight! Who ya got?

Some decent games tonight but one in particular has my eye.  Maryland is on Michigan's schedule late in the season and many of us believe that game to be a trap game of sorts as it is sandwiched between PSU and OSU.  Plus Maryland's offense looks to be legit, especially that passing game.  Taulia Tagovailoa leads the Big Ten in passing yards, touchdowns, and only has 1 interception on the season.  They only beat Illinois by 3 but I watched that game and they moved the ball up and down the field on that team but kept shooting themselves in the foot with mental errors or turnovers.  They could have and should have won that game by more than 3 points.

Anyway, my point is I'm smelling an upset tonight.  Iowa might be the weakest top 5 team in history and  this game a home game for the Terps.  Right now the line is -3 to Iowa and if I were a betting man I'd put all my money on Maryland for the win.

Am I too excited for a Friday night Big Ten game?  Probably.  Do I care?  No.  I think it's going to be a good game with a great atmosphere and I'm going to watch as many of those kinds of games as I can this year since last year was so dreadful in that regard.  Lets go Terps!

It’s not just Iowa.  It’s MSU, OSU, Penn State, Notre Dame, etc.  So many asshole teams get handed tons of turnovers every damn game.

But Michigan’s opponents?  They turn the ball over about 3% of the time.  If an opponent ever fumbles the ball away to us at their own 5 yard line like Maryland just did, I’ll eat my shoe.

This site (Brian included) loves to mock Ferentz for punting and whatnot, but the dude just plain wins, despite being located in a state that produces little talent.  I can see why Lloyd wanted him here.
