It can get worse, much worse.

Michigan randomly fumbles the ball with regularity.
October 12th, 2019 at 4:18 PM ^
Our continued ball security issues are the most worrisome thing with this team. Each time we fumble the wind completely comes out of our sails.
October 12th, 2019 at 4:16 PM ^
The team that recovers the fumble is random. How often a team fumbles is most closely correlated with pressure on the QB.
October 12th, 2019 at 4:19 PM ^
Fumbles are happening by everyone.
October 12th, 2019 at 4:47 PM ^
EXACTLY. That is COACHING. We are the worst team in FBS in turnovers. We fumble like a bunch of kids trying to pickup a greased watermelon. Jay Harbaugh must he fired or reassigned and get Mike Hart in here to teach these kids how to hold onto a football.
Oh, and the offense "hitting their stride", yeah Harbaugh needs to put down the crack pipe.
October 12th, 2019 at 5:39 PM ^
Fumbles aren't random. Nobody said they were. Fumble recoveries once the ball is fumbled are.
October 12th, 2019 at 7:32 PM ^
Random, yes. But I just Googled this. Footballperspective.com (no idea who they are) did an analysis from 2000-2011 and 62% of non-QB running plays and 60% of receiver fumbles are recovered by defense. 45% of QB runs are recovered by defense.
Makes sense as more defenders are around the ball after the line of scrimmage.
Fumble rates sure don't seem to be random. We really suck at it this year. It's hard to figure how you coach that out of guys. We always see practice film of RBs running through gauntlets of machines or guys beating them with pads. Not sure if Mike Hart has any secret sauce. Seems to be just plain concentration after you get past the line of scrimmage.
October 13th, 2019 at 8:33 AM ^
Actually there were a number of people on this board spouting that stupid shit. You're just completely changing their wording.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:46 PM ^
Other than the first quarter, the offense was complete shit. Fumbles, bad passes, drops, etc. Props to Haskins though....he might be the only player to not fumble.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:54 PM ^
Now you jinxed him
October 12th, 2019 at 3:55 PM ^
Not just the fact that he doesn’t fumble.. he probably has our top 5 longest runs on the year. He is hard to bring down and has good speed.
i have no idea if he truly has our top 5 longest runs, but he does seem to break more long runs than the rest of the backs
October 12th, 2019 at 3:46 PM ^
Fire Harbaugh after he fails to get to a bowl in year 5?
over 35 million dollars. Didn’t buy a fucking thing.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:56 PM ^
I'm not saying they're great or anything, but you really think we're not getting to a bowl this year?
Gimme a break.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:58 PM ^
We're basically guaranteed a bowl. We just need to beat Maryland.
October 12th, 2019 at 6:05 PM ^
Harbaugh has three 10 win seasons. Will we call for the next coach to be fired after 10 win seasons, too?
October 12th, 2019 at 6:51 PM ^
10 win seasons don't mean much since they moved to the 12 game schedule in 2006. 10-3 in a 12 game season and bowl game is much, much closer to 9-3 than it is to 10-2 in an 11 game season plus bowl game..
October 12th, 2019 at 4:18 PM ^
Terrible post by a terrible poster
October 12th, 2019 at 7:24 PM ^
Fumbles are the coaches faults and Michigan isn’t going to be bowl eligible.
Great stuff, gang!
October 12th, 2019 at 3:46 PM ^
Terrible. Again.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:46 PM ^
Tremendous drive by Patterson and the offense when Illinois cut it to 3.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:47 PM ^
LOL A duck thrown late, wide open in EZ overthrown
Thanks mom - Shea
October 12th, 2019 at 3:50 PM ^
We can give a little credit to Shea for bouncing back from that horrific overthrow of DPJ with a nice play design to get DPJ one on one on the outside and Shea put it in a good spot for him....at least that looked like a functional offensive play....can't really be said of most of the day.....

Puff puff give bitch. That must be some good shit.
October 12th, 2019 at 4:52 PM ^
Shea gets credit for that drive, a few other throws (the slant to Bell and the RPO to Schoonmaker stand out), and the grit he showed to get the first on the 4th and 2 keeper.
As for the rest, another bad game, but it looks like he's the best we have. If DCaff was cleared to play today, he must be way worse,
October 12th, 2019 at 3:46 PM ^
At least we aren’t UGA....apply this to all threads. Thanks, have a nice day.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:47 PM ^
I'd rather be Georgia. Same record but far better team.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:55 PM ^
Right. UGA will bounce back from this loss. Michigan won’t bounce back from a win. I’d take Kirby Smart over Harbaugh any day of the week. But then again I’d take plenty of coaches over Brim Bokebaugez.
October 12th, 2019 at 4:32 PM ^
Your troll game is really weak. Do better.

October 12th, 2019 at 5:57 PM ^
yeah me too. At least Smart is in the stronger division in his conference and wins it consistently and won the SEC by beating Alabama.
October 13th, 2019 at 9:56 AM ^
Only thing Kirbys got going for him is big piles of cash to throw around.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:46 PM ^
Not great, Bob!
October 12th, 2019 at 3:46 PM ^
I was really disappointed to see that Michigan's offense would be credited with a touchdown after that last turnover. They deserve no credit for that.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:47 PM ^
Bet Georgia wish they still had Justin Fields.
October 12th, 2019 at 4:26 PM ^
Tathon might be available though.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:47 PM ^
I’ll be honest. I caught the last quarter - I see Shea’s stats and wonder what everyone is freaking out about.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:50 PM ^
He had time on every throw and open receivers and still made some very poor throws. I don’t think his completion % was all that great.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:55 PM ^
A tale of two halves. Looked serviceable in the first half. Looked like dogshit in the second.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:56 PM ^
He was brutal. His stats aren't as bad as he played merely because Illinois is slightly worse than Eastern.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:56 PM ^
When you miss John O'Korn it's beyond time to freak the fuck out.
October 12th, 2019 at 4:08 PM ^
I do not miss John O’Korn and if you do you are crazy.
October 12th, 2019 at 5:26 PM ^
Amen. No one misses O’Korn.
October 12th, 2019 at 3:59 PM ^
TWell, he had 150 yards in 1st half, finished with 194. So not a great 2nd half.
Also, not a single catch for Collins. A couple for Black, a couple for DPJ. Can’t find the WR’s even against a terrible team
[Edit - um, sorry bout that, didn’t realize that Nico did not play. My bad. I stand by the rest of it though - a couple catches each for DPJ and Black means Shea is still not finding them, not even vs a terrible defense]
October 12th, 2019 at 4:02 PM ^
Collins didn’t play, so...
October 12th, 2019 at 4:05 PM ^
If Patterson completed a pass to Collins today, it would have been beyond impressive.
This landed in the wrong reply spot
October 12th, 2019 at 4:22 PM ^
Half of those 150 were on one play.
Where he threw the ball 20 yards in the air which he seems very capable of maybe 30% of the time. Bell got the next 50+ on his own.
Oh - and the throw was...……......….....
Wait for it...…...….........
Way fucking late.
October 12th, 2019 at 4:44 PM ^
Collins and I played the same number of minutes, and we both got 0 catches. Having said that, my kids did play good coverage during the game so I was not open very often.
