I am finally admitting defeat - XM gets his dollar
As some of you might remember, during the Harbaugh contract kerfuffle I bet XM a dollar he would not be our HC in 2023. Well the time has come for me to finally acknowledge the error of my ways so I'll be mailing him the dollar I bet to settle accounts.
For those wondering why I've waited so long to pay this off despite all the NFL jobs being taken, spring practice being held, recruiting in full swing and not one hint or rumor of his departure I can answer that question in one word:
Warde.

PPS: The is the second MgoBet I've lost and settled. Back in 2016 Jeepen Ben and I placed a case of beer wager on the World Series. I sent him a case of Great Lakes beer so this loss was far less painful both financially and emotionally.

As a life long Cubs fan brought to tears in that 2016 moment thinking of my Father and Grandfather not living long enough to see a CUBS World Series Championship it only hit me later that it came at the cost of long suffering Indians fans.
